Is that the reason why the President should force his way to an unapproved state property? The people advising GEJ are his greatest enemies.
And you forgot that this the same stadium was built under PDP government. The stadium was meant to be used by people of rivers not for Amaechi because he did not construct it with his money but taxpayers money.

You are still looking at this from PDP Vs APC perspective. Why can't the President and his party seek redress legally instead of resorting to self help? For goodness sake GEJ is the chief custodian of our Law and he swore to uphold it.

Muhammad BUHARI is a fraud.
No matter how you paint it, the truth is glaring. And no I am not pro PDP, I am pro- any man with a bit of integrity. If APC had the decency to field men like Fashola, Kwankwaso but Aswiwaju has his agenda. Goodluck Jonathan may not the best president but he is a better evil than Buhari.

Buhari is also not a nationalist but a very selfish man who would rather the geographical entity called Nigeria burns and is razed to the ground for his nassiccistic ambitions. Nigeria in 2015 has outgrown the likes of Buhari, Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babagida, Anenih and many of these recycled dead weights that have not progressed the country. They should just sit in their palatial homes that our collective weath has given them and give Nigeria a fighting chance to grow its young democracy. As for some in this generation of "Nigerian intellectuals" they are an embarrassment to the word "Intellectual"

No sentiment at all. What happened to Federal government owned Liberation stadium? Just can't understand why our politicians enjoy brewing up trouble. #MustPdpProvokeApc #MustApcFallForTheirtricks

Old boy, your reasoning is baffling. The stadium belongs to the Rivers people and not to Amaechi, APC or PDP. We have members in both parties. So if APC members in Rivers State deserve to use the stadium, so do members of PDP in Rivers.

There's nothing like trouble here. The stadium belongs to the state. The state is the people. Get it?

Very lawless bunch of people. Forcing your way into a facility you are not authorised to use simply because you control the security agencies is nothing but crass lawlessness. By the time GMB comes on board in may, this culture of impunity that makes some people feel they are above the law will be addressed.
Was it lawful for APC thugs and Supporters to destroy PDP's Campaign Buses and Posters??[sub][/sub]

It was built FG (Abacha or so) but has been handed over to the Rivers government, I think they are in charge of the maintenance and revenue that comes from the stadium.

The old stadium is still very much in use, PH is big enough to have as many stadiums as possible.
I doubt Sanni Abacha built the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt because it hosted the 1988 National Sports Festival.

Nothing will become of Amaechi irrespective of whoever wins. They are all in power game.
Eventually when the game is finally over, despite all the hard tackles, pushing and shoving, yellow cards and red cards, they will all shake hands and may likely be team mates tomorrow.

When you see photos GEJ and Amaechi tomorrow playing tennis, do not choke on your drink or calling it a photoshop, believe it to be real.
You saw OBJ, GEJ & PEJ playing happy families recently at their daughters wedding. I thought it would had been an eye opener for many by now?

Though i didnt want to vote for GEJ neither Buhari, but i think i might just have to that for GEJ for showing his supremacy in this scenario. Had there been he allows Ameachi's decision stand by not using that very stadium, i would've forever known him as a clueless man (as speculated by others). Now, i can see he's a man who can make decisions and stand to them.
