Serious relationship is simply when a girl wants to trap a boy into marriage, or vice versa... (Speaking from experience so your facts/suggestions are invalid) lol...
My advice? only agree to be in a "relationship" when you are sure you wanna marry the individual, ie "official" proposal from the man invovled (except you wanna have pre-marital sex by all means, and risk relationship 419).

Just date until you find what you want... There's seriously no crime in that.. Except you cannot afford to buy dinner for all those babes you crushin on... Either way write out what your plans are in marriage life and let every candidate for "serious relationship" aka "pseudo-marriage" know what those plans are and if 1 of them is cool with it then go for it!
