I have a very strong feeling that I know you... Lemme give u a clue
Did u recently gist with someone most likely ur cousin ( my hubby) about ur hospital accommodation and bla bla he was also telling u his wifey(me) is coming over

Now to ur question have u tried Eddy? Heard he responds fast. The other alternative is to apply for d visa urself.

You're absolutely right. Thanks Dr. J. I spoke with hubby yesterday. I will try doing it myself, saw this post on getting a card I could load for baby in Walmart. Would explore that option. On the other hand i'd appreciate if you can send Eddy's details to me via Whatsapp (ask hubby) just as an option. Thanks again.

*edit* To clarify, the flat I eventually got isn't a standalone; we took 2rooms in a 3bedroom; the Masters bedroom is properly furnished such that only the kitchen is shared with the single flatmate therein.

During my search, I realised getting a standalone is easier if one plans to stay for 3months at least.

Hi,please can u hook me up with soulcare's contact details...thanks.

Thanks so much @ mamabear, Tiwalope and Worry59, I intend to be truthfully and need not hide my preggy, hubby will be fully responsible for my bill

I have gone thru the past thread and still could not decide on any hospital, I will appreciate any contact on Dallas or Houston, I will appreciate cost and doctors contact. Pls any Jan mum here? We can hook up pls, I don't know where to start, been browsing and checking all day, pls help a sis.

Hi,I am a jan mum too,I totally understand how you feel, last week I was totally clueless and confused,I did read part 1 and to be honest it was very helpful, first thing I did was to send out emails to doctors within Maryland and Houston area,I got responses from most of them, but like someone advised me , maryland is a no go area, and it is true,I didn't want to be surprised eventually with gbese so I have settled for Houston.i contacted the famous Dr fagbohun and he responded quickly,I will be using him because he has mostly good reviews and he seems experienced. As for accommodation,I contacted intown suites today and got a confirmation from them,I haven't settled on this though,I will still be looking for other options.these are the steps I have taken so far.

Does that 1450 covers For Food? Utility? Nd all? because I got a better deal wanna compare tho mayb I'm on track. It's in Houston

It covers utility but not food. Pls can u share your deal? U can PM me if you wish.

ozycy:

Ask @ lollyberry, he contacted them sometime ago but there price was so high. Are they same pple with "urban living...."? I guess you want to use houston North west hospital. I actually wanted to use them but nobody is offering accommodation close to them except hotels, and I can't afford to be lonely since am going alone, so I had to switch. Buses ply that route from soulcr but e go be missionary journey cos you have to take about 3buses to get der for appointments.

Thanks. Their price is inclusive of food and groceries though.

Hi Guys,

My wife gave birth to our Son at Houston NorthWest Medical Center almost 2 weeks ago. So thankful to everyone here that has helped with information one way or the other. Special thanks to @oresmum and @domrita. God bless you all.

Our Doctor, Glenn Morgan was great and did a wonderful Job. The nurses that tended to my wife were great, and overall I would say it's a hospital I would recommend to anyone. Freebies to get us started like a starter breast pump, belly waist band, similac, baby starter clothes, etc were given.

Currently we are 'free-er' what with tending to baby and trying to chase his documentation. And so far we have his BC and Passport but i'm having a hard time getting through to Tanko.

Can anyone here (maybe you have mentioned before and I missed it) offer an alternative to processing his Nigerian Visa or a better solution like a passport instead without travelling to New York?? Please any advice would be appreciated as we have limited time.
Waoooh I delivered about 2 weeks ago too at Houston northwest medical center And I didnt get all this freebies you mentioned here. Maybe my nurse was a stingy one.. Tanko does not pick his call but if you send him sms he will reply.Nigerian visa will be cheaper than you going to New York considering the ticket. Regards to the lil one

I'll start taking my folic acid the moment he wins. Hopefully, it takes them more than 9 months to amend that part of the constitution. wink grin

Atlanta POE was uneventful for me. Only got sent to secondary inspection cause I carried food and the dog had sniffed out one of my bags and declared above 10k cash.

Just have all your usual documents available - I had mine but they didn't even check them.

PS: I had a baby last year as well and POE was Dallas and they checked every document including accommodation, they even made copies of them.

Thanks Hawttattoo. I think i'll do it myself by getting a visa via Atlanta. I start today and will send it out probably tomorrow. Which doctor delivered your baby? The lactation specialist there, the tall lady only sees moms that are doing exclusive breastfeeding. She's a Port Harcourt person and we quickly identified with each other.
She did well to drop a manual Medela breast pump which was helpful and got my wife started. The others came freely lovely drinks from the pantry room, food, baby blankets, similac et al. For moms using Dr. Morgan you can ask the nurses if you are entitled to these little perks.

P.S I know it's been said here before but ensure you let your pediatrician or whoever will be performing your child's circumcision what you want. Tell them naija style and show them a pencil sketch of what you want if you think it will help them else you may end up doing it again.
