The real winners are those in in SS/SE who have conducted themselves in a civilized manner after hearing the results, unlike their counterparts that, with support of their boss, went on a killing rampage four years ago.

I'm more proud of President ‪#‎GEJ‬ for ushering in this new era of transparency in Nigeria democracy. Anyone can grab power, but it takes great leadership and statesmanship to concede power.

Let this smooth transition of power in Nigeria serve as an example to some African leaders who think leadership offices are their birth-right.

I will salute GEJ's courage when he hand over power. Till then, I reserve my comment.

IBB institutionalised corruption, GEJ tried to make it cultural.

Organising a fair and competent electoral body and congratulating his opponent upon losing (so as to leave and pass over power) is his legacy. Oddly, those would be his only positive legacies.

The reasons he did it is not out of honour, it is out of lack of strong-will. Just the way he did not have the liver to challenge Turai and the cabal preventing him from taking up the acting President role after Yaradua was obviously dead.

We just witnessed a weak man doing the right thing, not a honourable man.
