In simple text, Ribadu is to PDP what BUHARI is to APC. A lot of persons almost lost that faith and loyal in Buhari due to this alliance with a new party habouring some dare devil, however a closer look at his Pedigree made dem stick to him. A party is just a platform to actualise ur ambition for the pple. Its clear APC had no plans of giving him the Gov ticket same with thr Lagos Agbaje of a guy so they sort opportunity elsewhere.

I think the solution to this it to make a person politically inactive for at least a year if he plans to decamp to another party

Pdp survival depends on Lagos ,GMB can not afford to allow PDP to win Lagos it's going to be a disaster,and PDP is going to be the most brutal opposition ever,but if they loose Lagos,they will be dead and buried

but i thought we wanted a two-party system. ow now we want PDP dead and buried so we can go back to square one as a one-party state and some 16 years from now some disgruntled APC members will start a new change song.

Human beings are like tools that can be used as you like. Have you ever wondered why Nigerians who have no regard for traffic laws go to western countries and obey traffic laws like everyother person?

Leadership is the key. If the APC leadership can establish intergity and controls thesame agents of destruction from PDP can become agents of change in APC or else they will get lost and return to PDP if it still exist.

If PDP loose in Lagos, Rivers and Akwa Ibom on Saturday. That's the end for them. Zero financial influence means zero influence. They are fighting hard in these states to remain relevant and subsequently use state allocations/revenue to refloat the PDP.

For instance, the National Assembly can pass a law to say that:

1. No defection from one party to another one within one year to an election

2. No defection to/from any party within one year after election

3. No politician may defect at all if he/she has not spent at least three years in his/her current party.

At least we all nw knw dat we hv people after their personal interest as politicians,people who will jump to where they re sure there is power & money. Funny enough when they re in pdp they re corrupt bt wen they go to APC they re change & progressives,we re watching.

Truth be told: Nigeria is different from western nations culturally, ideologically, politically, and in countless other ways. Yet we are attempting to practice democracy, a western based political system and doing so, if I might add, quite successfully.

Instead of being different ideologically, our differences essentially lie in tribe, religion, economic class, or in some cases, place of residence or birth. Our politicians understand this and win our votes by playing on our religious and tribal differences, or playing on our economic conditions by sharing rice, beans, even oil during their campaigns. This food distribution scheme does not happen anywhere else in the world. SAI NAJERIYA.

Political decampees cannot be blamed for lack of commitment to some political ideology because the PDP has none, APC has none, neither do all other parties.

Carpet bagging is here to stay with us, and we cannot really legislate our way out of it, without infringing upon people's rights to free association. This is simply our own system. Though not without it flaws, it will ultimately serve us well as we mature politically. Mind you, Ribadu himself jumped from PDP to APC to PDP, yet most of us still hold him in high regards.

Trust me, the westerners also have major flaws within their systems.

This great country will continue to succeed against all odds.
