The umbrella body of Ijaw youths, the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, has implored the youth of the Niger Delta to desist from actions that will give the excuse for the military to unleash onslaught on the region.

Preach it brother.....

It's only in a peaceful clime that things will work out good

IYC and other Niger Deltans please let's give this administration a chance to work.

When we see the path it's towing, then and then we will decide on the next line of action.

You are more responsible than boko haram.

To the military, they should not think their power is on Niger Delta. Niger Delta is not boko haram.

Is obvious that Nigerian Government has forgotten so soon that both the Military and Navy did not stopped Militant boys... They lay down there weapon because of Amnesty.. So if this present administration decide to start a new war with them.. That's means Jonathan past administration will be beta than this present. Boko haram + Militant = ..hmmmmmmm

Mr. UdengsEradiri is like the proverbial woman who for threat of death from a group of rapists opened up to the rapists who eventually raped her to death.

Youths in many European countries fought and died for the freedom which Europeans enjoy today - but no body must fight a losing war.

No body or group gets freedom on a platter of gold. Freedom does not mean living well when your kin are suffering.

The above is a very senseless comment.

As an Ijaw, if there's any people I can trust, they're are the Igbos. The last elections taught me that.

Eradiri didn't fail to pass a subtle message to the PMB - led military. Nobody should hide under any guise to attack us. We will always attack them. That's the main point he's passing across here.

They're playing their last card...Intimidation and coercion.

The average Ijaw has not and will never actualize himself under the present dubious arrangement

And to shut you up from expressing that discontentment would be the highest rape on your collective consciousness!

Stay the course, brother

@Mallam abagoro,

America's war for Independence from Britain was fought on America's soil, not in abagoro's village - note: cowards die many times before their deaths.
War is not good, must be a last resort - but when it is to seek for lasting peace and freedom, it is inevitable.

Those concerned may ask Nigeria as presently structured for more cuts from crude oil, it is wasting time; many Nigerins like abagoro would rather even take away the 13% concession to oil producing areas - if possible.

Agitators may ask Nigeria for referendum from now till thy kingdom come, nothing is gonna come out of the request.
