Picture of a small snail hatchery unit. It's better to give a little space between each eggs to avoid cannibalism

OK. I have more than six hatchery and don't add more 20 eggs in a section. Makes me have up to 95% egg hatch

Is it advisable to use condemned refrigerator as a cage.

It's ok, but if it is standing fridge you hv to lay it faceup. But don't use the fridge cover, build a cover with wood and mosquito net. Also make provision for drainage of excess water. Same thing with freezer.

You know fridge are lagged, so it will make the inside too hot for the snails.even If you put holes in it.

Yes and yes.

Snails are nocturnal creatures, that means they are most active at night. So during the day you'll see little or no activity from them.

Also they love climbing, so most times they'll climb on anything that is above ground

Hope that answers your questions.

CHEERS.

Please guys, try and show me your interest in snail farming before requesting to be added in the group. Inasmuch I would love to add everyone, I don't want to bring in those that have little or no interest in the venture and leave out those that really want to go full time into it.
