Complex and diversified, life indeed is intricating and complicated . Things superfluous and unnecessary are valued Why things imperative and important are underrated.Encapsulated below with brief details are things overrated in Nigeria and Nigeria alone. 1. WEALTH: Those without it are seen as worthless and useless nonentities who have nothing to offer. A wealthy man they say in Nigeria does all things".To some extent it's merited but to higher extent it's just an hypothesis lacking substantial proof. Even Tinubu in all his opulence cannot have his way in the National issues.Wealth is overrated. 2. SEX: Seen as the paramount: the pivot and pilot of a relationship. Considered the main factor that determine the success of a relationship. The degradation and depreciation this have brought to people cannot be left unnotice. It is Sex or no relationship. This I say it's overrated. 3. POLITICS: Much need not to be said on this it's crystal clear, audible to the deaf and visible to the blind. 4. BEAUTY: This is a prerequisite in many aspect of life.People with less beauty are considered a poor thing not deserving to live.I have never in life seen an albino working in a Bank.Beauty is overrated in Nigeria. 5. EDUCATION: If counted Nigeria will be among the countries with the highest numbers of professors and learned men.Despite this great feat we are still going forward in the reversed direction. If you don't have a masters in Nigeria you are regarded as an illiterate; succinctly put you are what the west call "Good For Nothing". cc lalasticlala cc Ishilove |
