My greatest mistake i still regret was choosing to attend a polytechnic even tho i had a choice to go to a university.... I attended a federal technical college and was crazy about getting practical knowledge.... Got admission thesame time for Ambrose Alli University and Auchi Polytechnic.... chose the polytechnic and i still regret my actions.... cos your practical knowledge would not give you d promotion nor enhancement out here....
ADVICE::
If u currently have that intention of going thru a Poly or even currently in one, Please, drop it and go start again or better have a backup plan to further... cos with a poly result,,, prepare for discrimination.... and don't expect a miracle!!!

Dad wanted me to be an economist, mom would support any good thing I chose, I wanted to be a petrochemical engineer........i ended up being an economist, and I don't regret it.

Found myself in Met/Mats engineering instead of Economics cos I wasn't gud wit mth... No regrets though. Its my destiny.

please can you explain more.... for me I see all of them as just waste of 4/5 years....I should have pursued my dreams without taking the school route. BTW I am in my final year in the university.

Wanted to be in the medical field although I'm not in the science field bt i have a science foundation and i did ssce in commercial courses, wanted to rewrite ssce in science courses, bt time wasn't on my side bt here i am studying psychology, and i chose it because it's the closest course to science that i can do without a science o level # not really regretting tho cuz psychology is interesting, my fear is that it's not that lucrative in Nigeria, some people doesn't even know that psychology is a course in the University

I'm regretting for being in Mass Comm Dept. First of all,my course mates are set of dumb Assses. too lousy and talkative. I made the mistake right from my Secondary school when I choosed Art instead of Science,i have always wanted to be a medical doctor or an ICT expert(hacking,programming,web designing etc) but the fear of physics,mathematics and chemistry made me choose Art. Even at that time when I was in Art dept,i created a wapka website for my school. This my current field is just like a playing ground for me,although I'm doing very good,i find it not challenging ,I shouldn't have come here.

Hating maths all through secondary school.

My parents wanted me to be a medical doctor... First of all I was good in the sciences of course the theory aspect.. But I knew Practical sciences wasn't just for me... The common sight of blood makes me nauseous... I can't even stand sick people.. Yes that's the truth, I hate hospital too.. The mere thought of it makes me squirm.. Now how exactly would I survive being a medical doctor....
As I grew up, I couldn't care less about their opinion... I knew exactly what I wanted..
