I myself have been the target of many of these "award" ceremonies. Usually I'm listed as one of the "minuses" while the bosom buddy network fall over each other with honorary honorariums.

But if someone is quietly minding their own business then out of nowhere suddenly gets labelled the baddest mamajama or whatever, then they shouldnt be blamed for responding in kind, imo.

I sincerely think a lot of people are taking this badly because they have not been "favourably" nominated.

There is no avoiding one clear fact - there are cliques here and you only get nominated to "good" awards if you are chums with members of the powerful cliques. It must be the reason a lot of people are feeling bad about it.
But heck its all fun, if you're not nominated its not the end of the world abi . . . its just the internet. Dont give urself heart attack.
