I've two friends who were stationed at maidugiri.... They are from anambra . On one of the occasions when they where given a little break, one already has gone blinded in one eye... When asked about the gist, he opened up that they were given little to no supplies by their superiors so as to defend a territory.... When the ammo he and his unit were having got exhausted, they tried retreating and they were assaulted by hand grenades and the fragments ruptured his eyes...

You know what, he was not medically then care of... He only got the treatments for his wounds by the goodwill of his family members... As for me until the system goes frictionally free, I cannot give my life for it...

No sire, this is the third temple below; made up of strangers, foreigners and the house of Israel.

Ephesians 2:19-22
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

stop confusing yourself. the new testament is a book written about the second temple awakening and how they are going to go to the rest of the world ( book of acts ) to recruit the second fruit for the third temple which will happen after the second temple falls and the man of sin aka the man of perdition is unleashed on the world for a little season and then when the man of sin falls, the saints and the second fruit will awaken for the third temple. see you are confusing yourself. the new testament is a book about the second temple. its letters from saints to saints exhorting and encouraging each other.

SirShymmex, you and I have had some arguments in the culture section, my convictions are not sole based on Bible, I am able to link all the oral folktales, all the myths, all the present day political social and economic circumstances of the world to create a whole story. I read the Bible and the Bible validates all that I see.

For example, do you know that the story of Oduduwa is the story of Adam and Eve? If you saw it, you would gasp for air.

Sir, I get you and I know you're not just knowledgeable about the Bible - you're also an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to the Qu'ran, Yoruba history (especially Lagos), and the Emirate in Northern Nigeria. grin

Yes, I understand where you're coming from, and a lot of myths, legends, and folklore do have links with what is going on in the world cos our thoughts have links with the universe - and everything on the planet works in unison, depending on what realm you're in when having deep thoughts. Hence ancient cultures were able to see and note things we can't really see today without science. Ditto how they were able to perfect astrology, weather, and time. A classic example is how the Dogon tribe of Mali could see in sirius star in the universe without the aid of a telescope - something science just discovered a few years ago.

However, when it comes to black people - I think we should stop giving folks false hopes by using the Bible as a justification in faith. Folks have been doing that for over 400 years and nothing has changed - it made us worse and mentally lazy. It's high time we started dealing with the reality of our unique problems and how messed up we're, with more practical steps and intellectual curiosity. We can't keep waiting on generic prophecies forever. And each passing year while we wait, we become worse, stuck at the bottom of the totem pole of basically everything.

lmao there is no sarcasm in my post. in the bible it says do not despise the day of small beginnings. thats why the hausa boys flourish. they do not despise the day of humble beginnings. but according to you everything has to be perfect and friction free before you can engage. fortune favors the brave. you despise the days of humble beginnings so why should you benefit when an increase comes ? this is why hausa is running things. they are there for the humble beginnings and they are there to chop the increase lol. as you reap so shall you sow. nothing in life is coincidental

When and how, Sir?

I look at Africa, and I see utterly corrupt slaves, who're the herd leading the intellectually dead and docile people, within a status quo, history, and structure created for them by the colonial masters (in the words of great Ben Okri in his mythical masterpiece, Infinite Riches, on how they re-wrote our history, and destroyed our way of life) - in servitude. While acquiring personal riches and not wealth. I look at America, and I see white privilege/racism, police brutality, black slaves, mass incarceration, and black bourgeois who thrive in their best emulation of the supreme white race - ditto the rest of black diaspora. I look around me in the belly of the beast and I see how the created monsters and black bourgeois who're comfortable in just existing within a ceiling, as long as they can feed themselves and lead a fraudulent life in self-delusion. grin

Oh shyte, my lil darg cum distance cousin due to new family links just go shifted for a fire-arm a few days ago, while trying to protect himself from other black males, due to hyper-masculinity innately in every modern black male to mask our generational weakness. That's 5 years in prison, with an altered destiny - and an everlasting criminal record for a young chaps with so much promise in life. Late teens now and he'll be out when he moves over to the beginning of adulthood. The story of a lot of black males. He caught one and anyone can catch one...and when you catch one, the white man's system knows how to ra.pe you in the ar.se and make ya life miserable forever. That's the story of black people everywhere.

Time to stop being prophetic and start working hard and smart. No one is going to come from anywhere to fix our problems for us, we've to fix them ourselves, via intellectual curiosity and proper economics. wink

This is typical Yoruba, defending his Arewa masters.

For your info for years after the civil war, entry into the Nigerian Army be it infantry was made nearly an exclusive right of the North. They gave very little quota to the East.

I have a town's Man that got enrolled into the Army with an Hausa name, cos that was the only way he could get in.

bros, the top military brass want infantry men to remain infantry. southerners will never remain infantry because they are always eyeing the top. so its not tribal. its like in america, they prefer hiring mexicans because they know mexicans have no aspirations to get to the top and climb the corporate ladder. these are the easiest people to work with. the typical southerner has big-man syndrome in his dna. in the army they have highly specialized socialists and psychologists who study tribal behavorial inclinations amongst the populations in nigeria

That is not a rule, but an exception.

Thousands of Igbo youths rushed to Army recruitment centres in the East an all over the country but only few of them were recruited, there was a deliberate agenda to Northernize the Nigerian military. This is the fact and the reason we have too many Northerners in the military.

It wasn't until the dawn of Democracy in 1999 that things improved a bit, still the quota given to Ndiigbo were never enough, many people don't get recruited at the end of the day, for lack of space.

If someone chooses to work because he or she wants something to work, support that person even with your daily prayers instead of criticizing them.

there is a reason why ndigbo is not recruited in the nigerian army. your loyalty is always questionable especially after your nzeogwu adventure and trying to form biafra. so what is happening with ndigbo is a special case. hausa dont want ndigbo with any kind of power because they are not generally loyal. we have gideon orkar and nzeogwu planning coups etc. hausa just dont want ndigbo around PERIOD

Now we are talking. Fortunately for the North and their Odua partners, the feeling is mutual. Ndiigbo don't want the North to have any form of control of over Igboland, we know they are not loyal and can't be trusted.

So we have come to term this fraud of a country, a Zoo, for only an animal would want to co exist with same people it hates.

Biafra is a must, this current Zoological republic cannot last any longer, the Igbo consciousness had been awakened by Achebe, and has been gathering momentum, when it reaches its crescendo, the world will know.

I'm starting to love the name "Biafra" as "Uzochukwu the conquering Biafran warlord" according to the supreme title bestowed upon me by Big Sukkot. grin And Zoological republic description of Nigeria might be the most apt description ever, who knows? the cankering lion of biafra haha. with the likes of t a orji and orji kalu i suspect that biafra will be a disaster. biafran leaders are the worst in nigeria. if biafra is actualized and with the type of leaders they have i am sure it will be the worst place to live in the whole world. because now the corrupt leaders can run free and have free reign without being called to task. imagine t a orji as the president of biafra ? all the allocation to fix biafra will end up in his swiss account while he has henchemen to beat up people who question him. thats the biafran way lmao
