TRUENORTHERNER: Yes, your Ford Explorer 2005 should rev highly and loudly in the morning or at cold start to be able to supersede the frictional force of engine moving components and enhance prompt warm-up, but shouldn't be higher than necessary and annoying. Electronic control accelerator began from 2005 Explorer and year model upward, below 2005 are accelerator cable manual control. Listen carefully, 99% of technicians might recommend replacement of electronic throttle actuator(ETA) assembly, don't, nothing is wrong with your vehicle's ETA. APPROACH : get the vehicle scanned especially the powertrain division and send the report to me so that I can diagnose further. Secondly get a competent Mechanic to check the performance of the radiator thermo cooling provided it also revs loudly at warm-up while you accelerate either on motion or stationary. 1 Like |

Hello Femtop I have this problem with my ford escape 2006, When i drive it for some few hours, I noticed it will not accelerate until i have to switch off the engine restart the car then it automatically works fine. Secondly the AC will work for like 10 mins straight cool, after them it doesn't cool anymore, but if when i switch it off and on back it works for another few mins and doesn't cool anymore. |

Ford Explorer 2012- 2014 trouble code camshaft timing over retarded /engine flat-pot and hesitation is caused by malfunction variable camshaft timing (VCT) assembly due to the usage of sub standard or wrong engine oil. |

Ford Edge transmission trouble code tss(turbine speed sensor) and oss(output speed sensor) faults need no replacement of those sensors or solenoids assembly. The transmission transaxle driver and driven speed ratio should be checked for perfection |

Ford trouble codes P0011, P0012, P0021 and P0022 are not camshaft position sensor fault but error in valves lead/lag/overlap degree specifications. Needs to be corrected by Ford expert |

Hello @femtopford, pls i am looking for a Ford Caravan (Explorer Bus) btw 1999-2002, for sale here in Lagos. Preferably tokunbo to buy in perfect working condition. They are usually customised with refrigerator,mini-bed, DVD and lots more inside. Please if u have for sale or any one does i am very interested in buying Asap... Ford batteries, some are reverse polarities position, technicians should be composed, else greater damage to CAN(control area network) and other sectional ECU(CPU) of the vehicle . |

Ford Edge trouble code of Turbine speed sensor (TSS) and Output speed sensor (OSS) aren't defective sensors but alteration in the transmission variable speed . Sensors shouldn't be replaced but instead the fluid and the solenoids performance should be checked for efficiency |
