A close look at the vehicle, the Escort commander noticed a women driving with a minor in the front seat and directed the convoy to track her with caution not to push her car by the shoulder.

This took up to 3-5 minutes before the Escort commander managed to halt her. She stopped abruptly on the road forcing the convoy to also stop and other road user causing heavy traffic along the high way.

As She came out, she began to rain abuses on the Police boasting that she is a lawyer and a daughter of a police Commissioner and has the right to drive the way she wants.

I do not agree with bad treatment given to members of the public by politicians or the police and I will never justify that.
However Governor Almakura is also must have been in a state of anxiety. Where the incident happened is the alakyo area of the state a very dangerous area where the native alakyo killed about 100 policemen and security personnel and nothing happened up to this day. These people are Labaran Maku's tribal people and Maku is locked in a court case with Almakura over the governorship of the state. Almakura must be ware and remain alert especially when he is in alakyo territory and at a very dangerous narrow and rocky strip of road where he can be ambushed by this farther wild warrior tribesmen. It is the worst place for him to have to deal with obstacles on the road whether men. Women or objects.

The Anambra Gov's convoy had to tail me from Ugwuoba through to Amansi, the road was bad no place to fall to so I simply maintained a reasonable speed for them to overtake. Come see run cuz it was single lane driving on the trailer nearly crushed the dispatch vehicle.

The Al-Makura that i know and met in Gen Aliyu Gusau office is such a humble fellow that i doubt if he could make such disparaging statement on the lady in question. However i want the Governor to borrow a leaf from his fellow Brother Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomole who found himself in a similar situation with a WIDOW and after the altercation caused by the over-zealousness of his aides did make amend whether he was right or wrong. The issue is not worth the over publicity it is generating

Did you actually say that this issue is NOT WORTH the publicity it is generating? Are you thinking at all? A serving governor's convoy brutalized a Nigerian citizen and you say that it is NOTHING?? If you have nothing of value to say please remain quiet and stop spewing inanities!

In any CIVILIZED society that 'humble' governor would have been out of that office! Obviously you are used to politicians trampling on your rights hence your wonder at the uproar.
