Do you need an expert on your ongoing building project?
BENTOS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY is a reliable company that can help with your building construction at an affordable price

sehawale:
If you are Uber Partner or Driver in Lagos, kindly share your experience here:

- Considering the unpredictable traffic situation in some parts of Lagos, is it lucrative?
- How much on the average do you make weekly, working from morning till evening daily excluding weekends?
- What are the challenges specific to Lagos with being a partner or driver with Uber?
- Would you recommend a friend to be a partner with Uber.
- Any other useful info...

I need this survey/shared experience because I have thought of being a partner with Uber. I have a driver that is assigned to my family. My family's daily itinerary is fixed and this makes my driver and my car idle from 8am to 8pm daily. Registering the car and the driver with Uber has been considered to roll extra bucks into the family's purse and increase my driver's take-home as he will get commission from money made from Uber, apart from the salary he is being paid presently.

Your comments will be appreciated!

I remember I became a Don at doing airport trips. I dey sleep International Airport steady. 7:00am, I don go park. Before 9:00 am, Island trip - #3,000 - #5,000 must drop ni. Anywhere I drop off, destination back to Ikeja/Airport. Then to the airport car park again.

If I no see Island trip nko, no lele. Airport to Obafemi Awolowo Way Ikeja is #1,200-#1,500; 30 minutes journey max!

At the end of the day, my #15,000+ gross is sure. Weekend (Saturday and Sunday), na like #20,000 gross on each day. Sunday night, 9:00pm, I must pick my last rider for the week from Local Airport; usually, long trip!

Softwork. Chai, I miss those days.

As a matter of fact bros mini buses will be pushed out of the major roads soonest, because the LASG has invested in their own buses to arrive the country soon filling the gaps of the ban on keke and bikes.

@ bebe2 my advice to you.... Put a hold on any transportation biz plan now until things settles in Lagos and Nigeria. Peace

thanks for ur input

I spoke to my manager today and we decided the bus route is the way to go.

plan is to get a mini bus everything including registration 1.2m give it on higher purchase at 1,8m and hope for the best.

will have to investigate that lagos state plan o

I had a rider like that yesterday. After waiting for more than 15mins, she came and said she wanted to pick up something from the boutique just in front of us. I was looking at her plainly without emotions. I took out my phone and checked the riders app, to get another driver in that location would take another 15-20 mins as drivers were not around the area. I smiled.

I looked at the boutique and saw them removing clothes from the mannequin for her to still check out all these was going to another 5-10 mins of waiting. She later came out and was trying to open the door which I already central locked.

Me- yes hello can I help you?
Rider- oga open your door, I’m late for this trip abeg let’s hurry it’s getting dark.

I just shook my head and jejely canceled the ride because Lord knows that I will most definitely fling her out of my car when we get to 3mb.

I would have wanted to make the ride hellish for her for being insensitive but alas I just shook my head and said this one is not worth the stress. I only stress when you threaten my life/property anything aside that abeg carry your wahala dey go.

Wow, guys are not smiling these days. Will behaving myself these days
