And a driver go come tell me say he no fit pay 35k after making this much? Even those paying 25k will still complain no market. There's God o.
Nobody should pay 35k and nobody paying 25k should complain. Owners should stop buying Tokunbo cos it makes no sense. They should rather look for Tokunbo standard and fix it up. In that way there'll be no pressure on both sides. Cheers

Exactly my thought. There is no way you earn up to that in this platform without your body and car getting the beating. Each time I chase bonus, my body dey feel am no be small. Except there is something he is not telling us, and which can never be legal anyways.
I'm special. The last time I checked, it's legal to be special.

Oh! Many thanks. I tried to reach out to the OP weeks ago. Called multiple times and sent messages. Sadly there was no response or any feedback received.

I've done over 5000 trips combined on uber and bolt. You know nothing about me or what I can do.

Quit with the stupid smileys, btw.

Scratch that. My last rider was benevolent enough to do me the favor of screenshotting my stats on her phone.

Factually, I've done a combination of 6,266 rides across both platforms and here is proof.

You still think I know not what I'm doing?

Good evening people, I hope you are doing great. There is this pal of mine in the office that we usually discuss getting vehicle on HP to do Uber. For so long, none of us has been lucky. The country hard small, dealers no even reason our matter at all as soon as we mention HP.

But my friend just got a deal, someone who related to him somehow according to what he told me, who sell cars in Osogbo has agreed to give him a Honda Accord 2013 4 cylinders on HP, he has paid the initial 1 million requested and I got to know cos he asked me to sign a guarantors form.

Now, my question is, how suitable is a 2013 Honda Accord for the business?

Mind you he is a Civil Servant that earns around 139k and he said the car will serve him as personal car and for hailing.

He said the man has two of the cars and if I am willing he will put in words for me and I can kickstart process of picking the other.

Please guys, your opinion. Thanks

See the pic of what a 2013 Accord 4 cylinder looks like.

Una get mind ooh... 2013 Honda for ehailing in Lagos naija??!! Bros this is not Dubai o.

Nice car tho but not recommended for ehailing at all don't let anyone talk you into it.

I want to believe this car is not coming cheap so the question is, why use such an expensive car for for ehailing? To what end? To me using such a classy car is an insult to the system and the job at large. Better still get a Corolla or a civic if truly you're looking at the business then go with a car that suits the business and don't follow ur friends foot step.

Live na per head. But one tin is certain ur friend already made a wrong choice if truly he's gonna use that same car for ehailing. I can bet one of my hair he won't do up to 10 rides on bolt with that car b4 he hangs bootgrin

Wrong tool for the job if his aim is to repay from what he makes from bolt/uber, One downtime can rake up all his profit hence my reason. Though it could open way of offline for him from better riders that wants class but will it come everyday? He should think it through.

One thing I've observed about offline, it's about personality and not about tue car per say though tue car comes into play top but tje first thing is customer relation.

That was how I got a 1.7 surge trip one sunday evening from agungi to ikotun.
Since I stay at Abesan, na so I sharperly accept. Ride was smooth until we got close to synagogue... see traffic for that roundabout. No lastma or police on sight. spent like 30 minutes there, everything was chaotic.
After the traffic then the obaranje abi na ogbanje road. That road long ehn... and very very bad. After dropping rider and crawling back to the beginning of that ogbanje road, I got another request from that same road on 1.5 surge going to lekki, I told rider if she can meet me at the junction of that road then I dey game, but she said no. Na so I face road to house.
Next day I begin hear some kind loud sound from the back. I spent 12k working on my suspension.

Ha! Bros that Rd you mention na oga for bad road oh I sabi d rd wella... na because of that rd I no dey gree go ikotun... dat rd na babagrin very bad

Hello team,

I have been a keen follower of this thread (lowkey) for sometime now. Please I need your advise.

I’m interested in ehailing but the major challenge has been getting a car or the money to buy a car. I tried getting HP but couldn’t get something reasonable so I decided to save up the cash and buy a car instead.

Before now my savings amount goal was 1.5m for a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08; I use to see this on JIji sometime last year.

Now I am ready and have been able to save this amount but I can’t find a foreign used of this car for 1.5m anymore and already settling for naija used.

Please advise on other alternative to a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08 or what to look out for in getting a Nigerian used vehicle.

Thank you

Talk to either GAZZUZZ or there's a guy that help people to buy cars from Canada he's tested and trusted I can't remember his moniker now... Try see if you can strike a deal with any of them while you balance up within 6months after starting the hustle but be ready to forfeit your car if you don't meet up within the agreed time signed.
GAZZUZZ can get you a good deal, naija used for that amount even a corolla self. Chat him up he's a good guy tho I haven't meet him b4 but all the guys I've directed to him for business have never returned with a bad review.

Make sure you get a good car, Corolla or civic any of the two... GAZZUZZ is your best bet.

Curious to know, with tokunbo corolla now well above 2million, do people still do HP and how much do they pay now?

My brother the thing tire me ooh... This our government just derive pleasure in suffering us. They see a business that is booming for people instead of make it easy they rather make it more difficult.

It is well shall.

Thats why some guys would rather go the Moove way instead of pay 4m for a 2003/08 car.

bro, if na biggy your money reach, buy am without blinking. Just know the pros and cons of the car. Corolla sef get im own wahala, I used big daddy for 9 months on ehailing and no major issue. The issue with the car is engine shorts oil and you might need to top up oil with 1 ltr weekly. For your information, the 03/04 is more rugged for the hustle than the 05/06 cos of the 10pin gearbox as against the sensitive 13pin in the latter. Corolla sef na thief magnet, and e dey spoil too.

No wahala. We dey wait smiley

Ok, took this rider from VI to Shomolu after Unilag... Trip staryed at about 6:15pm or thereabouts, GMap took me through some inner streets in Marina believing to cut off some traffic because the traffic was mad. Came out on 3md the exit b4 clinical rd then went tru clinical rd to come out at Herbert McC Rd,...

Did some danfo driving... Tje traffic was mad and finished trip even b4 ETA in 90min instead of 180min. Ended trip and was robbing my head to relax, as I raised my head to see how much the fare was I was surprise to see that price was automatically under review... Wow!

I was like, who asked for price review? Rider too was surprised as me. I asked her what the estimate was she said 2800-3500.

So whats gonna happen because it can take bolt 24hrs to return a price review.

Rider offered to trx 5k saying in case its returns more than I should contact her for additional pay and I told her ok and in case iys returns less she should contact me for a refund.

Yesterday morning Bolt returned the review with N1900. I was like really?!!

Anyways, since rider already trx 5k to me I know if I context further they still not change it or rather increase it to 2.3k at most and that will further increase their commission as well and affect my current balance so I just accepted like that.

Went back to check for riders info thia morning but couldn't get her contact so i contacted bolt for her number.

The rest na history

So i was now wondering, how would Bolt just carryout a price review automatically just like that even when there was no lost in GPS all through the ride or was it because I finished rhe ride b4 the ETA? Or due to the routes I took?

This new Bolt app enh!! e no go kill person o
