LadyGuinivere:I called the question nonsense, because the benefits is like the difference between light and darkness.,moreover, this forum is for the people who wants to give birth in the USA for one reason or the other. not for someone who is trying to discourage others by saying that we are subjecting our children to future tax burden in the US, before even asking his or her question about the benefits of becoming a US citizen. So i see the writer more as a discourager than as a person who wants to know more. However, the question you said i asked back then was a relevant question concerning visa, which is in line with the forum, nothing more. 13 Likes |

people does travel experience matter when someone wants to give birth in the US? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by happytbaby: 3:08pm On Mar 26, 2016 |
@ Yomisley, I think it depends on who you meet (Visa officer). People have gotten it on virgin passports. Travel experience just helps to show capacity, and may also demonstrate that you are likely to come back since you 've been going to other countries(developed) and coming back. It's not a must sha, just show your money, be prepared and pray for Grace. @ Austine2020, I think you read the original poster's post with bias, I have read it for the umpteenth time and simply cannot see what you are saying. She was polite. I have seen people condemning this our endeavour on the first few pages of part 1 of this thread (dunno if those posts survived the rapture) and Comfortina does not sound anything like them. This endeavor is a choice, if someone gets discouraged by those questions then they didn't have something to do before,as my people will say 'won nikan se'. It is important to be civil to people on this thread regardless of your opinion of their thinking. It's impossible for all of us to think alike else husbands and wives would never quarrel. Lady G abeg ctrl alt ignore. @Biollar, this your dollar quest is gangster, see you using torchlight to find money no wonder your moniker rhymes with'dollar' 5 Likes |

Austine2020:Points to note 1. This is a public Forum. That means opinions apart from yours can be aired. 2. The fact that opinions differ from yake them lacking in sense. Matter of fact she Made a lot of sense. If u fail to see it...your loss 3. Really? You can judge your own matter? U feel your questions were relevant? Were your questions brand new? Without your questions would the thread had come to a gringing halt? No. For people to have answered u meant it wasn't fresh to them yet they chipped in their 2 cents and now u label another person's views nonsense. Smh @happytbaby now I will ignore. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning house and happy easter. Very informative posts in here and I must say thank you to everyone for the lively discussion. We just found out that we are expecting our 2nd baby and we will like to have the baby in the USA. The baby is due in early December but my US visa also expires in December so it will definitely expire during my stay. Can I use it like that or do I renew the visa before I travel? |

Hello NL family, am a newbie as well as I have read several pages of this thread and I v learnt a lot. A big shout out to everyone for taking their time to share their experiences; u guys rock. Here goes my story: * Am a first time mom to be * July mom Houston bound as that's where I v got family. We intend travelling in June. (tho I v plan B as regards accommodation as I do not want any stories dt touch) * will be travelling with my mum * Got my B1/B2 visa late 2014 together with my family for vacation(dad, mum, & siblings) as I was still single. Visa was used May 2015 for the purpose and got married late 2015. * as advised by aunty in the US and also as I v read on this great thread, I v sent a notification of intent to the embassy & got the generic response. * aunty recommended two doctors who r very popular on this thread & I v also contacted both and others. I v got their price quotes and correspondence. * now ticket hunting.... Sorry for my long post. Pls feel free to let me know if I v left anything undone. Thanks all & Happy Easter. 1 Like |

inedevorfa:1. You can ENTER the US up until the last day of its validity. 2. You may be stamped in for a period not exceeding 6 months (usually) at the cbp's discretion. 3. U are allowed to stay in the US Depending on the tenure stamped in so if ur visa expires in December and the VO stamps u in for 6 months , technically ur visa has been extended for that long. 4. However if the vo is not minded to do that and decides to stamp u in for the validity of ur visa , you then have issues. So finally, there are your options. Its now for u to decide of u wanna renew or hope to stamped in longer. For me. I never take chances and I'd rather have a long term valid visa before travelling 2 Likes |
