Good point, that was the same reason that came into my mind, as the only sensible reason why any woman would want to starve her own children just to ensure her husband gets to taste the food first.

Some women can surely go to any lenght to do love jazz hence am not eliminating that option as an explanation for her action either.

Sounds like a good idea,imo. The only thing I'd want an improvement on is how to schedule the mealtimes so people dont get too hungry while waiting. In any case, it doesnt have to be every day.
