For your information, www.theprideoflondon.com which displays tags of both Arsenal and Chelsea as having that informal tittle is just a frigging website! Its nothing official! And that website is originally a Chelsea fan based website, meaning the owner of the website is associated to Chelsea fan base hence the banner of the website shows Chelsea. Even that website also tags Arsenal as the Pride of London, below is a photo of the same website and its display of Arsenal.


Because a Chelsea fan based outfit was the first to register "www.theprideoflondon.com" doesn't give that tittle to Chelsea as an official tittle. If a Queens Park Rangers fan based outfit were the first to register that website when you google "the pride of London" you would see QPR being displayed as the pride of London. Writing "the pride of london" in google to search, google would first search any website bearing such details and put it first for you. Its just like searching "Nairaland" on google, of course google would show you "www.nairaland.com" first before any other results pertaining to that keyword.


If I register the website "www.bestclubinlondon.com" and put up on the website banner that "Fulham; The best club in London", whenever anyone makes the search "the best club in london" what would show first would be that website and the website info would display as Fulham being the "best club in London", but does that make Fulham the best club in London?


Calling your club the pride of your vicinity is a status symbol to mean its the biggest club in that vicinity and fans brag about such, so its daft, deluded and ignorant of you to be claiming rights about an unofficial tittle like "The Pride of London" to belong to Chelsea. Even the smallest clubs in a vicinity claim to be pride of the vicinity and its all part of football fanaticism. At best if two clubs are to argue on such a title its their clubs achievements which would win the argument, and talking about achievements, has Chelsea FC achieved more than Arsenal FC as a club since inception?

With such logic it means clubs like Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest who have won champions league are greater than Manchester City FC at present just because Man City hasn't won Champions league yet.
