Biafra: Igbos Want To Reconolize South-South-waziri Ringim by MrAnalyst: 11:36am On Jan 05, 2016
Leader of the now rested Arewa Peoples
Congress (APC), Alhaji Sagir Ringim has said
that the ongoing clamour for the creation of
the Independent State of Biafra was a ploy to
colonize the South-South.
The Waziri Ringim told Vanguard that
agitation by the Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB was a
calculated effort to capture the economic
prospects of the minority ethnic nationality in
the oil rich region.
He said, “Those Indigenous People of Biafra
have a hidden agenda to recolonize the South-
south, capture the region, colonize the oil field
for the betterment of the Igbos.”
Speaking further, the northern leader said
that Biafra is not blessed with solid minerals
apart from coal, saying that the geology of
the region can’t support an independent
country.
The former Intelligent officer of the Nigerian
Army explained that “because of these natural
shortcomings Igbos survived as a diaspora race
than any dominant group in Nigeria”.
Ringim opined that “if the Indigenous People
of Biafra are now saying that yes, we want to
have Biafra, what are you going to do with
more than three quarter of the Igbos who are
outside the East, those in Kano, those in Lagos
what are you going to do with then? You take
all those people then go back to Biafra? They
have no houses to live, they have no means of
livelihood.”
Waziri Ringim dismissed IPOB activities as
orchestrated blackmail to arm-twist other
stakeholders in the polity for more economic
advantage.

I don't know where to start from. How can this man be this myopic in reasoning. How can he say Igbos can't make a country? The man even said it is only coal that is in the SE? How stu.pidd? For him to say Igbos want to "colonize" SS is a very daft summation and shouldn't be coming from a leader. This divide and rule can't work forever, people are getting smarter!

There are Igbos in SS so what is this one talking about?

'Who is Minister of State for Petroleum, is he not Igbo? Who's Gov of Central Bank? Is he not Igbo? Who's Minister of Labour, Science and technology?
''What do the Igbos want?" - Buhari during the presidential media chat

When it comes to killing during riot in the north, they're all Igbos. When they do drugs and the name sounds Igbo, they're all Igbos. If it's about baby factory and the name sound Igbo, they're Igbos. During the lopsided appointments, they're all classified as Igbos but once oil is involved, they're SS grin
You can see now that all he's talking about is oil and SS

And we are more than ready to do again. The two reasons why the Igbos want us the south south to be part of them is not for d sake of d Igbos liking or loving us more than the Hausa's or the Yoruba's. It is purely for economic reasons. The Igbos have little or no Oil resources. Again the Igbos have no assess to the seas and waterways to advance their commercial and importation business. Just check from Calabar straight to Edo and down to Ondo and Lagos States are all on the mouth of d Atlantic ocean which very good for Cargo business through d sea. But the Igbos have no such advantage here.

And there are no Igbos in SS abi?
All because of oil, you guys keep trying to bully Igbos in SS to deny their existence.

THIS BOKO HARAM LEADER SHOULD KNOW THAT THE IGBOS ARE FAR ADVANCED THAN HIM AND HIS PEOPLE WHO ARE RAVAGED BY DISEASE, TERRORISM AND WAR. BIAFRA SHOULD BE BY REFERRANDUM, IF THE SOUTH SOUTH VOTES IN SUPPORT OF IT, FINE !!! BECAUSE IT IS NOT BY FORCE. MEANWHILE HIS FULANI BROTHERS ARE CONSTANTLY ATTEMPTING TO COLONIZE AND ENSLAVE THE NORTH CENTRAL. THIS GUY SHOULD KEEP OFF FROM IGBO MATTERS.

Are you nuts? Waziri's ploy is very shallow. He seems to be defending the SS yet insulting them all together. Saying Igbos want to recolonize the SS people means they were a conquered people previously. It is not only an insult,it is provocative and undeniably a big lie

He is definitely referring to how Ojukwu led biafra tried to annex the SS into his phantom dream before the civil war.
