Running is a terrestrial locomotion allowing people and other animals to move quickly on foot. Running can also be done with the aid of some machines like a car. Humans run for numerous reasons, mostly for a prize or running to catch up with something. A man who is running earnestly for no reward or for no reason will be regarded as a mad man.
