I believe world bank would give an extension to the program, I saw on the website a disbursement for Gem project that was made around July 2018 that was supposed to have been done a year earlier. Lets keep the hope alive!!!

Did anyone get a text about monitoring visit? I got a text from 08033434062 on Thursday asking me to reply with a date I will be available for monitoring visit. I did reply and have been calling the number since Friday but I keep getting a text saying 'I am busy right now please text'. Anyone with same experience?

You need to be careful. Call GEM office to confirm if there's any such visit going on.

GEM sending out another Induction email people.. While they are yet to settle people from 2015 - 2016.. Even 2016 - 2017 people some never even gotten 1st Tranche..

The program has been extended to December 8 2018. But I hear there might be a further extension to March 2019.

Someone should pls tell me the last paragraph is not true! GEM is now offering training with no grant?...

May be the grants will come after the induction.

Wow! It's not fair on any business but don't give up. I believe they have commenced marking the documents, check your dashboard again. God help us

I just hope God will touch KPMG, Pwc, and the minister of trade & investment to do what is right and proper as regards this GEM program and not keep frustrating the entrepreneurial dream of young people this way. The misery index in this country right now is at it's highest ever, and I fear what will happen if it goes any higher.
