yes every city has a ghetto but i don't think ph is humble to admit that, even it's citizens here kept saying they never knew such existed.

Maybe cos of the hype whenever you hear ph so much is been propagated with it

Btw those ghettos could be so much that it explains why ph is a dreadful city especially during elections
Naa. Every true PH breed will tell you to be careful coz we all know the various sections of the City have their own peculiar traits. We have areas on per with the Asokoro district shown here, we have middle class residential areas & finally the slums where social amenities are non-existent.

Most commenters on those threads haven't gone to the nooks and crannies of PH

Well nothing prevents other states from being like abuja.
Delta, ph, akwaibom, cross river etc should have been like abuja since but terrible governors wont allow
Well spoken. In fact all ND states should be competing to attain such level.

Ph and Compton I no know which one get cultists pass.
I believe you've never visited PH. Those 2 earlier threads on PH were purely centered on the slum areas of the town, probably to push some agenda.

Lcd plus no indisplay fingerprint but you're paying only slightly more for the device.
What a wowzer!

And is it really surprising that the indisplay fingerprint was slower dan d one at d back. Is dt something we're saying now
Nigerian techtubers are always swayed to the highest bidder, no objectivity at all. I stopped taking them serious a long time ago.

how many people gave you the misleading review? Phone that is yet to fully hit the audience is coming with bad review.
I tire o, even the "legendary" RN5 Pro had some bad reviews before it stole the midrange scene.

Truth, bro. Even as premium as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is, if you go to it's GsmArea page, you go see complain you go run. Not up to 3 positive comments. Top complain is that the camera sucks. 108 mp sucks? grin I give up. You can't please anybody. Or does it really suck?

Lol, I dey tell you. Nigerians still get their own for body. On jumia, one guy complained of RN8 not having front Flash and rated it 1. So, he didn't check phone spec before buying. Another one said no ear piece spoit the brilance of the phone.
No surprises. This is why I find most comments on the user review section of gsmarena humorous. People just don't want to be realistic

All these people complaining about stutter while playing games, what were you hoping to achieve when you max out your game settings in a mid range device? undecided

If your phone is not a flagship with top of the line chipset & GPU then don't expect perfection

that store is confused. I waited for that MFF and this is how this stupid pandemic has rubbished it out! Some of the phones on their store can be shipped to Nigeria though, but what I don't understand is why Note 9s is not delivered to Nigeria. It doesn't make sense to me
Probably because Nigeria is one of the official destinations in which it'll be released too. Remember AliExpress is in partnership with Xiaomi for the release of the 9s, so they're targeting markets where they don't have physical stores.

Am sure if not for the pandemic wahala it would have been on the shelves here.

I know and I acknowledged that. That was probably the biggest reason for my transition to android. It was just too dull not being able to do all I knew the device could offer
cry
I know right. Personally I think stifling the jailbreak Dev efforts has slowed down introduction of new features in iOS.

I recall running a multitask App Switcher from Cydia which lets me open & utilize 2 app Windows on my iPad 3 as far back as 2014, and it worked flawlessly. It took Apple until the introduction of iPad Os in recent times to introduce such features.

Such a shame Apple will deliberately restrict the prowess of their gadgets

Honestly, I'll take a jailbroken apple device over android any day.
I'm still yet to find any app like "activator", for example.
The night mode flying around everywhere now, that was "flux" app from about a decade ago.

Maybe I'm biased cos apple saved me from the horror of Nokia phones and I'm still super attached
My broda, the glory days of jailbreaking iPhones are far gone. Apple must have a whole department dedicated to frustrating jailbreaks & plugging loopholes

What type of games? If it's cracked versions, just settle for Android
Lol, if he is really gonna dole out that amount of cash on an iPhone then crack must be far from his mind by fire, by force cheesy

If you wan flex iOS be ready to pay for even the most commonest of apps.

Dem no born that app developer well to pull that kind stunt with Android grin

The fall was last year may and from a kneel hight I was sitting down then..it was a little crack I just decide to remove the glass entirely..

I have an update since last week I can't update not downloading clear update cache change apn still same

And funniest thing is yesterday I was just reading and watching videos on screen burning and retention problem on screen it wasn't up to 2hrs when my screen start misbehaving is all Good sha
It's always better to carry out updates via a WiFi connection, even if it's from another phones hotspot with strong connection.

Am a repairer so open the phone to see if there is any residue on the screen flex
I haven't seen such before not the the screen is broken
As I am on nairaland now it will start reflecting the recent app I visited.. It brings shadows reverting the screen too
Ok. If it's an hardware issue then it's probably due to impact from an earlier fall.

Talking about apps, I think only few root accessible apps can cause that sort of damage. If you do tweak your phone then switching to default may be the answer

Have you been opening the device for cleaning yourself?

Literally supports HDR on pubg and high graphics on Fornite which is INSANE
Unless you aren't a gamer.

The redmi note 9 pro is a disappointment.
