It's okay on websites and WhatsApp but I couldn't bear it on games so I turned it off.

Check your games centre settings, maybe auto brightness is turned off there

It takes more than just hustling to be truly called a success.

Life is a risk. like a reader commented up there, time and chance happen to people whether you choose to up your game or you choose to marry when not buoyant. If I had not seen a poor man who rose to wealth , and a wealthy man who became poor, I would certainly think a man has 100% influence on how their lives go .

The overall advice would be to have a source of income before dabbling into marriage, then get other sources of income to complement whatever cometh. At all times, pray without ceasing because real wealth isn't made, it is inherited from anybody. Take a look at majority of those who are billionaires, you would agree with me that they never believed they would be what they are now. If we all understand the way things work in this world, which isn't possible, we will be able to predict the future.

Wisest of words my brother. I see earlier comments before yours trying to make it seem like those in penury deliberately choose it or that the so-called rich folks did it with their strength.

The responses on this topic leaves much to be desired, seems most here misconstrue the import of the post. This is not a male vs female ish guys.

I don't think the OP is trying to belittle the fatherly roles played by the man in the family but he is rather drawing attention to the shortcomings probably posed by modernisation which the current African father may be missing out on.

Some fathers present themselves as the "lion in the tribe of their house" thus striking fear into their kids and promoting an unfriendly environment. These when carried on for years can have negative consequences which has made some fathers lament not being "connected" with their children when they get older.

Discipline can be asserted in the home especially when grooming children without the air of hostility. Fathers should take out time out of their busy schedule and actively feature in seemingly childish stuffs sometimes like attending their child's school programmes, engaging the child in discussions, having a hangout time with the kids etc.

These may seem silly but cannot be compared to the peace of mind it comes with in contrast to having unfriendly & unruly children in the future, then all the money you've hustled won't save the situation.

The board clearly says conspiracy and as a lawyer am sure you know what that means. If the mother and girlfriend were not accomplices in the crime they won't be arrested alongside. Or do you see the EFCC arresting all alleged yahoo suspects along with their family members?

A similar thing happened to my colleague's neighbor some years back in Port Harcourt, but in his case they were kidnappers.

He got a text message for job interview from supposed World Bank and the location was at Diobu (a densely populated low cost residential area with hardly any notable corporate offices of organisations). Imagine a whole World Bank and it's not at the business district or the high brow part of town. He ignored all the red flags and went to Cherubim Street on the stated date.

He recounted meeting over 30 persons also invited for the interview, after a brief wait a bus was brought in that they were to be conveyed to the organization's office. That was how he got missing for 3 days plus before his family got a call with demands for his ransom.

People should be careful of interview invites especially those they did not apply for as well as verify its authenticity before the said date of the interview.
