Why does Infinix and her sister company Tecno always shy away from stating the processors used on their devices? |

Tiger2020: I had this argument about the price of mi 9 ,he said he got it so so and so price on aliexpress and shipped with so amount and paid customs so amount ,i tried telling him that he was on a heavy receiving end,he was bragging of how much he bought it ,i even showed him this and this yet he couldn't believe Lol, mugu must fall. Just akin to how some here will go ahead to order from AliExpress models that are already launched and readily available with the false belief that AE imported has better quality. |

GrandMufti: Cool down Bros. 6a no get snapdragon brother. note 3 and note 4 been get, that was why those who bought the mtk versios felt cheated. Some came here and vented their anger.
Now note 8 don get co-joined twins. Make I stop here .. ..... Exactly. Whenever they release SD and MTK versions of the same model side by side, the MTK always ends up getting left behind. Will that of the 8 series be any different? Only time will tell. Lol, some persons wan turn the thing to fight |

Horiolah: Baba no use me play na, Mtk isn't as bad as y'all make it look like, at least for we wey no dey 'twerk'. So if someone is just gonna get a phone to do basic things or even play some games, then it aren't bad. My 6a is one year nw and I no complain, so??. Oga, nobody say dem bad o. What you need to understand is those of us that have reservations about MTK have used it at a point in time before we came to that conclusion, while having it compared to non-MTK. Las las make everybody buy wetin dey sweet am for him own money. |

prahcetomi: Hi guys, I want to order something from AliExpress and the the thing is I'm not sure if I will be around when the stuff arrives. So how long can goods stay in the post office? You can send a proxy to go pick it up with proper identification in your absence. Aside Nipost officials it'll really be hard to know how long they can hold on to your package before they return it. |

talut: A lot of reviews have proved that this chip is capable.. just read an XDA review yesterday. Gameplay is also decent.. and it has been proven on heavy usage without hardcore gaming the battery will at least last a day. I should also mention something about the battery drain test someone mentioned.. we know its built on 12nm manufacturing process, so we don't expect the chip to outperform a SD 710 if other factors are kept constant , then we have amoled screen which also reduces battery's drain(but unfortunately not present in note 8 pro).. and a lot of other factors. all in all I think the phone has an excellent battery performance based on the review. The only problem I think this chip have is probably stability. Like on pubg on example playing on 60fps is possible but not stable. Frame rates drops as low as mid 40 happens. Probably will get better considering its still relatively new.. XDA in conjunction with Xiaomi is also giving the phones to some of their "talented developers" for custom ROMs and other tweaks support. The complete kernel source has also been released. So I think if you ask me, support for the device looks promising. This post might be biased cos I won't lie I'm in love with the phone, plan to get one myself this month but no doubt there are some facts in this post You sound like one who is not only passionate about the Note8 Pro but tech savvy too. But how does one recommend it just coz it "looks promising" over a proven & more balanced device running on SD like the Mi 9se, Poco etc? Xiaomi does not have a good track record for supporting MTK devices |

maclawrence02: I wonder why you guys feel everyone has a dubious agenda when it has to do with issues here. Exposed me? Funny you! Have you asked yourself what I stand to gain. I remember not too long ago when someone posted that he couldn't find ultra battery saving mode on his miui 11, I was quick to inform him that it's available on miui.eu. So pls take a chill pill. I hate to be a part of any form of nagetive vibe here. Don't get it twisted bruh, my comment was not a personal attack or whatever. But when you do use a custom ROM you should know some features missing from the official MIUI will be available on a platter to you. So those comparisons are really not necessary, especially when responding to a noob. Cheers |

GrandMufti: They are coming for you Tiger2020: i cover myself with the blood of snapdragon That Note 8 Pro sha e get as e be. For the price they're offering one can as well get a tried and tested SD device rather than experimenting with MTK. |

olayinkajnr: Guy, why are you like this na?
It's a fact that unlocking bootloader, using a Chinese rom makes Playstore to show that a device is uncertified.
The reason why yours I showing certified is that you are using Magisk with safetyNET.
Whenever you want to prove a point, do so well, stating what and what you did else you'll misinform people. Especially those on stock ROM, with locked BL having the issue of device not certified.
They'll think something is wrong with their phone. Not knowing you used Magisk to bypass safetyNET on yours. Lol, you really exposed him there. I always wonder why most people that use tweaks and mods feel like they've super powers. It's not like they were even the ones that wrote the code for the tweak |

GettinIt: Please someone should send the link of Xiaomi official Store on AliExpress. There's no store run officially by the Xiaomi company on AliExpress, though there are stores dedicated to selling just Xiaomi products. Check up Fantacy store, Tonke Digital, Dreami, Xiaomi Online, Xiaomi MC, Xiaomi Official etc etc |

hopefulLandlord: what's the difference between this and AppLock? This I believe is tied to your WhatsApp account. So in case you move to a new device with fingerprint scanner am sure you'll be prompted to input your print. With applock, someone with your registered SIM can simply download WhatsApp on a different phone and activate your account directly. Then again applock is not present on all smartphones with fingerprint scanner. |

Personally I'll say it's preemptive to be arguing against a device that's had its only usage on YouTube videos. |

Jecyangel: Top of the day my people and happy November. I made an order on AE which have arrived Nigeria since 12th of October as per tracking it. Since then i have been waiting for my local post office to give me a call which they haven't but I have been calling for the past 3weeks but they kept telling me it haven't arrived. Just on the 29th i got a mail that my package have arrived at my local post office, i still called but they said nothing for me. Tracking is showing failed delivery and later successful delivery where as i haven't received. Am just confused. You maybe probably be called later in the day or Monday latest. The local post offices do experience minor delays due to sorting of parcels, especially if it's a branch that receives large traffic. |
