eby001: I’m practically left frustrated here. I’m not new to online shopping, in fact I enjoyed it until recently trying to get redmi7 on aliexpress, first seller did not process for 7 days. I cancelled it and got my refund. The 2nd seller I encountered shipped, today makes it 60 days since I order this item, yet to recieve it. I wanted to open a dispute, the dubious seller has extended the timer by 30 days and sending me stupid coupons! Ouch! Some of these Chinese sellers can be annoying. 2 months plus is a long time, let's hope you get it soonest. Did you use free shipping? It's always better to use paid shipping on gadgets to avoid such frustrations |

abdsamad: Yeah but the edge is pretty marginal and firefox is superior when you consider the addons. Dunno if chrome has those now... Highly doubtful Does one really need an add-on when the feature is already integrated into the app? Google doesn't need em. Whether your preferred browser is superior is subject to your personal opinion. I no get strength for Saturday banter. |

bakayokoko: PLEASE HOW DO I STOP THIS JUMIA ADD FROM APPEARING ON MY PHONE SCREEN. IT'S VERY ANNOYING! This ad is not caused by the system or MIUI. Check the apps you installed recently, one of them is the culprit. Uninstall the app or deny the app permission to draw over other apps. This will disable it, that's if you don't want to stop using the app |

fantilopezzy: thought this is de same phone that was launch 330$ globally why is it cheaper am sensing inferior parts Now I see why Apple, Sammy, One Plus & co keep increasing the prices of their devices just to prove how not "inferior" their products are. Have you considered that they might have a cheaper landing cost which will enable them price it competitively in line with the brand's value for money policy and still break even?

fantilopezzy: baba i no to like chrome oo and i won't support u You don't have to support me guy. Like you I've explored various browsers on Android but always ended up with Chrome. Every other browser capitalizes on a niche area like low data usage, low RAM usage, fast loading of pages etc but modern day Chrome just seems to have the right balance of everything. In fact I was so impressed I switched from Opera browser to Chrome on my PC too |

Mizik: yeah but i wish i could leave more apps in background You actually do have "more apps in background" and that's what's eating up your RAM. What's the essence of having RAM space and not wanting it been used? Unused RAM is actually wasted RAM |

Abeg before Una conclude....make Una first ask! He must be referring to earlier versions of MIUI because I know that bug has been fixed since MIUI 9. What most folks don't know is that ram management has really been optimized since MIUI 9. People tend to associate a particular con & stereotype to a brand they've had a bad experience with irrespective of improvements that might have been made by the brand in that regard. Every brand from Apple, Samsung to FMCGs suffer this fate |

Go to Security app, then battery settings. Scroll down to "other settings" then change battery indicator to "graphical". |

I noticed since the recent 10.3.1 MIUI update there's no theme that doesn't have complete implementation when I do change my themes, even without a reboot |

It is frustrating. Do a restart of your device to have all your theme design implemented |

Read more: https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_9t-review-1950.php That's obvious since the 730 will be underclocked in comparison to the 855. For me it's stability and battery juices over anything else. Agama eyes on the K20 |

awesome99: well, i change my devices yearly. Sometimes twice. I currently use the Nokia X5 and an MI 9. Believe me when i say mediatek is just overly underrated. My gf uses a redmi 7 and i must confess, my nokia X5 handles everything thrown at it far better than the redmi 7 rocking SD632.
Secondly, i know so many Snapdragon devices that my so called mtk Nokia x5 got android pie update before they received.
It boils down to the oems providing support to their devices, weather mtk or SD I ain't doubting you but I do know MTK powered phones are not future proof enough. I ain't hating on them coz my old note 3 was MTK version. Support goes beyond OEMs, there's app developers & mods support to contend with too. Am sure you've seen peeps here making fun of a certain device with PES players "flying". That's an example of a device lacking app dev support despite it being on updated Android version. As more apps get updated, gradually you'll see more & more incompatible apps as time goes by because even the app devs are more focused on SD devices and probably use those for testing too. I hope you get my drift now? Cheers |
