awesome99: oga leave all these many unnecessary talks. You don't want to be stock on one device for three years. I trust you won't Why does it sound absurd to you? My last device was Xiaomi redmi note 3 & it serve 2 & half years without issues. The one before was LG G2, that did 2 years plus too. There's no much difference between 2.5 & 3 don't you think? If you've have a functional device without faults why change it? Or you think I only came to buy smartphones in this life? In as much as I like new tech, I got other priorities bro |

tidedroid: no but android one is pretty future proof in and of itself, phone was updated to android pie and it will get android q plus security updates for the 3rd year.3years of software support for a 48k phone doesn't sound bad to me If Android One is your cup of tea there's the mi A series and other smartphones running on SD chipset and fitted with the same Android one. You know what? Not only are the the mi A series phones "future proof" with "3 years of software support", there's also tweaking community support too which exceeds 3 years simply because they use Snapdragon. No MKT phone comes close no matter the os |

tidedroid: my bro nokia x5 runs games twice as smooth as my rn5.benchmarks arent for show they show raw performance,if there are any doubts about benchmarks its when comparing devices with different hardware and software like comparing geekbench scores on ios and android to geekbench scores on pc But does it enjoy same support as the SD contemporaries? You're still not getting the point. Is it future proof? In 2 years time can one go to XDA and see roms to flash on it when the official Android update stops? |

Abduletudaye: ok, i agree with you but i hear notification sounds in the background.. like my whatsapp messages..So, is that still a brick? Why not head back to XDA and see what other users of this rom are commenting. Others must have faced the same issue. The rom's display configuration is most likely the cause. Your other option is to flash another rom |

Abduletudaye: the very first screen that comes up after restart, the MI logo and the 'unlocked' writing at the bottom of the screen shows very clearly..but after that point on, its all blank.. Oga your screen has not gone bad. The rom you flashed has bricked itself most likely. You're lucky it didn't damage your screen by messing up the pixels like someone's own that was posted here some days ago. There's no comfort than using the follow-come official rom |

mykelshowz: wrong ..helio p60 is better than 636 and 632 ..its close to 660 ..660 beats it in terms of optimization and gpu There's more to a chipset than benchmark scores. Even if it is close to SD855, that doesn't mean shet when it lacks support. If you don't want your device to be left behind, avoid MTK chipset like a plague |

As for grown men running beside car inside heavy rain, E no concern me. The Benz and other official state cars are airlifted in large aircrafts, probably before the arrival of the VIP even. |

Gptech: By the time we really get true unlimited data sub for cheap price, many things go change for the pay TV world. You do know DSTV's infrastructure and decoders can give data access just like SKY tv in the UK but they would never activate it, I guess they fear the impact it'll have on their pay tv business. |

genius43: 2kurrupt, I don't seem to have the charging bug on my device. I have noticed a bug sha initially thought my battery was going cuckoo but after going through XDA and Mi community I found out I was not the only one.
The battery percent drops by 2% sometimes. But it happens occasionally. But it doesn't have any effect on SOT
Cc: All RN5 users on PIE. Just seeing this. I actually haven't noticed that bug for more than a week, probably happened twice or so. But battery life is top-notch nonetheless |

They even infuse the ads into their launcher, default browser etc without options to disable them. But if you say it they'll say you're dissing other brands. |

Update:
The Device hasn't arrived still, and I've explained to the guy that he will get a refund.
I then heard talks that he is malicious towards me. because of this, I approached him to talk things out; then, he slapped me, because other students were around, and he wanted to feel like a champion. I didn't cut him any slack, I retaliated and made sure he was death several punches. All this was June 17th.
So Yesterday, which was 18th, he reported the issue to the school security unit. I was summoned, and I appeared almost immediately. I was surprised to see that he has a lot of bruises on his face—his face is swollen, and he has several other cuts on his face.
We both took our turns in explaining what happened, and we were made to write statements. The issue has been taken to the administrative unit. The security unit officers were very biased in the issue. They were supporting him, because the condition of his face, according to their stupid judgement, calls for pity.
I've been threatened that my studentship will be withdrawn, but I'm not shaken. May they rot in hell. I will skale through this.
I've been told to bring my I.D card today.
They keep saying I have a big issue ahead of me and that my studentship is at stake. They are all forgetting that he is the one that hit me first, even when I was trying to explain to him. When you meet the School security today try and show some remorse for your actions, that you acted out of anger since the guy hit you first despite your many explanations. You really don't want to have your student status threatened coz of a trivial issue as this. Repay him his money to make this school security wahala go away as someone suggested, since you are the one to pickup the device when it gets here. Those old men can frustrate the hell out of you if they think you're being uncooperative and as things stand the cards are not in your favour. |

I may agree is anyone claims provide the screenshots Of the usage..
@5MB/s you can only download 500GB in 24hours Tel em. Even with the right speeds the guy has to be on his phone ALL day i.e. 24 whole hours. How practicable is that? |

That means they know me personally.. Its no random target. . I wish you the best... More reason why you should take it to the police even if codedly, so they don't turn you into "office". Security & safety matters shouldn't be taken lightly. Sorry for your loss & please stay safe |
