it's quite similar to mi band 4 in features. Remote shutter, remote music control, normal fitness tracking, bigger screen estate which makes navigation and notification easier, and it's even cheaper, comes with extra strap, i don't have to unstrap to charge also i know the battery is no where near the mi band 4 own but i'm fine with that

Not bad really. I was put off by the active area of the screen not being truly round, most of the videos show a square display area inside the round frame.

On the contrary I've heard of acquiring cheaper dollar rates. The initial post that resulted into our back & forth exchange of opinions only centered on a promo price on AE as against buying in Nigeria.

So you see why I highlighted the mention of cheap dollar which was not up for discussion.

well, i wish the backyard u meant was literal but its not. See if m to get the device @119k twill cost approximately 3k to waybill it to me down to enugu thats if m to get someone to purchase it for me at Lagos. If u do the calculation u see that the whole thing will incur more charges than expected but through aliexpress, the whole expenses have been covered even much less coupled with free shipping and if ure to get the device in months time the prices re viable to go down but its different with the ones sold here in nigeria. Take the note 7 nd redmi 7 case as a yardstick, u will see the prices in aliexpress re way much lesser than what u will get them here in nigeria. To me i dont check the waiting time nd custom issues, so far i found a place were its cheaper,who m i to take the other route.

Guy, I don't mean to burst your bubble. I recall some guys having same argument when the RN7 was newly released here and unfortunately some are still waiting for their device which they ordered from AE since then even as we speak.

Seems you've forgotten the A series is always a watered down version of their MIUI counterparts. I think they do it deliberately.

I asked because I've read on Aliexpress feedback section where a buyer attested to the band switching languages automatically & was even advising people to buy the Chinese version & save the extra cost

I live in Akure, so apparently poor, if any, 4G coverage. But I have 4G glo, airtel and etisalat Sims, all of which I've tried on the tab to no avail. It recognises that there's a 4G sim in it, but it shows no network coverage until I'm connected to wifi.

Then apparently there's no or very bad LTE signal.

Why not ask around to know the part of town that has a good 4g signal? It will be assuring to know the tablet truly has the LTE capabilities

That's not a bug. Check your game speed booster settings in Security app
