This is why some people believe technology has gotten to it peak, now we can only get faster cars, faster plane, faster internet, but nothing new.
Right.....but I don't think technology has gotten to its peak just yet...I think all this are the foundations of what is yet to come.

It does concern you. You're the one who said SA might even rank "lower" than Nigeria. So I was providing an independent assessment by FIFA which says otherwise.

Anyway, you seem like a good guy (although biased) so I'll back off a little.
SA fine no doubt but we know more. Morroco, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia. Non of the things you mentioned above plays out here when they are also in Africa, This is more political than anything.

Biased kee where do you see me say anything biased? You expect certain reactions abi
TravelRe: Between Germany And Norway by 2Lynx(m): 10:05am On Jun 23, 2020
There are many ( different) tread on the forum dedicated to both Germany and Norway if you can piece the Info's together you will be alright.

Germany: But first thing is that you will have to prepare 4million+ for the block account or if you have a sponsor over there ready to mostly part away with 1000+ euro no problem, not ruling out the fact that you can get a scholarship too.

The language: very important you can register at any accredited German language school (goethe something forgotten it's name at Lagos), or just get material and tutorials online, I bet that if you are serious within 4-6month you would have gone far

Cost of living/ other major and minor expenses: make research about this very well. This seems to be the bane of most Nigerians going overseas very thing no green there as you think, make enough preparation (accomdation e.t.c) so you no go constitute nusicance for there. Check other nairaland forums as you might be able to get information on thses.

But OP since its nursing why not try the US or Canada like the poster above mentioned, I bet you many opportunity awaits you far more than Europe.
I don't know much oo,
Lastly do good because you are reping Nigeria wherever you go.
Nigeria is not a SHITHOLE its just passing through a phase which other country passes in a way or the other at some point before a breakthrough

Stop fooling yourself, in 2004 African countries bid to host the FIFA World Cup and Nigeria didn't even make it to semis of the bid process. Egypt withdrew and SA beat Morocco by a landslide.

Thèse résulta were based on fifa's inspection of all the country's infrastructure - roads, hotels, stadia, electricity, water, healthcare, etc. The same result will materialise if we all had to bid all over again.
Who's fooling whose self here, bro take a look at other post abt SA and look at yours notice the difference.
Watin concern me with FIFA stuff, what I am trynna say is there is a way to make Nigerians agree your country is the best even when it might not be. Learning doesn't stop at certain age though.

It's not my fault SA awesomeness gets Nigerians worked up. Why u blaming me? You're giving me too much power. I'm not there one who starts posting about white people being SAs saving grace. The very first post in this thread by an envious Nigerian set the wrong tone - take it up with him. This was meant to be a post about waste management and how to beat it. as simple and innocent as that.

Anyway, I've posted BAD NEWS about South Africa today. You can check it out and ENJOY.

Ohh stop the "awesomeness" stuff already, your post mirrors your intention most times. like I said earlier how come people other than you post this same "awesomeness stuff" and no negative reaction is gotten but positive and even praises (without mentioning the white influence) by the same people on a similar post as yours posted by other people?

Post on twitter abt "waste management" by shading another country not in subtlety, and posting it on the a forum dominated by the countrymen. Lol bro lol. wise up these no be the way at all Sorry.

Most times when I see your post. I wonder if you post it here for just posting sake, as you seem to have underlying purposes posting those stuffs here, as other people(@raydos) post photos of south Africa e.t.c and Nigerians appreciate those post without stupid comments
It seems you derive joy from the harsh comments under your contents, its not good at all.

The problem here is that many Nigerians talk with emotions and exaggerate things unnecessarily.
Why cant we just do our analysis and move. I have been reading light years ahead of Lagos. Miles ahead of Nigeria. Every city and country has it's own strength and weakness.

Many people here don't know that there is a statistics that Cape Town is the most beautiful city in Africa and Abuja is the second most beautiful city in Africa. But we Nigerians just like pulling down our own country without even having adequate knowledge about our own cities.

Lastly, I think the Nigerian who went to post that pix of Lagos revealing dirts publicly has not done well at all. It doesn't impact anything good other than pulling down the country and making Nigeria to become a laughing stock before other African countries and the world. This is where the Whites are smarter than us. You will never see American slums and dirty places been littered on the media. They show you beautiful places so that people can like their country and attract investors. Nigerians should learn to understand patriotism. You can post such pics within Nigeria to arouse Nigerians and the Government to do something about it and not posting it outside to the whole world to see. This can even affect foreign investors from coming into the country to invest. We need to be wise.

Thanks.
You said it all sir.
We be shooting ourselves in the leg and blowing our brains out by spreading this filthy fotos online on forums easily accessed by foreigners, yet we cry when they blast us.
I keep saying it, if you keep on talk trash abt the country others will come to see it the way you see it. Mind conditioning
These countries (SA included) are on par with Nigeria( if not lower ) but their citizens no go post am ooo, instead they post the good ones indirectly boosting tourism and making some people gloat. Smarties

Partly right though.
We are so used to the system of things we don't want to try other things.
If Nigeria is willing to diversify to let's say...agriculture, [b/]tourism (we have the resource for these).
Bring in a whole new people into power (those that haven't tasted it b4. Looking to make a mark.)
Tarrifs, tax and export bills be reduced to almost nothing for start up. Then prosperity awaits us.
But comfort zone and our lackadaisical attitude be our bane

This is what started all this. Was this comment necessary?
I bet you that the post on blue wouldn't have sparked any serious reaction as no country was mentioned.
But then the op went on to mention Nigeria, WAS THAT REALLY NECESSARY he passed his message in the first post ( if that is actually what he wants to pass across, awareness, beauty of the country and not a shade).

The country is not as bad as it is painted to be, and I wonder if its the same nigera I live in that they themselves live in.

60 years of Independence nigeria is still backward even though they produced the most crude oil in Africa, are blacks cursed??.

Your people are dying in Libya and Morocco just to go to European countries.

Fraud and cyber crime is what nigeria is known for, no countries want nigerians.

Every week we hear of Boko Haram slaughtering people, yet there's no protest.

Herdsmen are killing thousands in farms.

Nigeria don't have roads, light, jobs, schools, security etc.

Nigeria is the most backward country on Earth. Fact
Your comment, you are not in Nigeria
It's only the lazy, those who are without purpose that complain like this or ain't in the country bro. Its only on nairaland I hear things like this and most times I wonder if the Nigeria I reside in is still the same one you people rubbish talk also reside in.
Because most of this things I ain't seeing it, mind you I don't stay in any highbrow place in the country.
The southys experience worse things or little like we do, but how many times have TMKsouth posted those here like we do( almost all nler frintpage is filled with negativity), never instead he chooses to talk about the good there by boosting the country image, and we come here and shout oh Almighty SA.

TravelRe: This Is South Africa by 2Lynx(m): 1:04pm On Jun 21, 2020
This things you all are doing, these behaviour is getting childish and shows most times that you all ain't matured enough. you forget that even if south African is the most developed country in africa, it will still be viewed as third a world country by the whites. Egpty, morroco, Algeria even ethiopia are very developed than south africa, yet africa as a whole is still considered a third world country, the HQ of poverty. We need to build up 5 or more nation to regain our lost glory as a continent that should be our focus. SA is still poor and I know that they know that. We need to build our selves as one race or we will be discriminated out there as a race or individual country irrespective of the individual wealth.

*The Land mass of SA is not up to that of Nigeria

War between two nations will likely not affect the relationship one of the warring entities have with a different nation. Agreement na Agreemrnt. They will have to uphold their end of the bargain war or no war no concern DAT one, unless they reach a new agreement and scrape the old one. Abi

Most of us just want everything to move at the pace at which civilization is moving, but fail to realize somethings are better left alone to pick up dust as they may serve as time travel machines lol people go pay to go back in time.

Tourism is something strange to most of us, the Malians ain't far more enlightened than an average Nigerian I must tell, the need to preserve their culture and ancestoral home from the plague of "civilization" is what kept those building standing till today, today they realised that they killed two birds with one stone(preserving culture and making money of it, which they never most likely intended to).
