Well in some of their pairs 0.01 lot = 0.1 lot. Noticed it in some indices.

From the previous competitions you can attest the fact that from 50th position to the last could not make up to 15 percent. This month's competition price was increased from the first position to 99 position can win 10k or more account.

If you registered for the November alpha capital group competition and you're 15k and above in percentage, you stand a beter chance of winning 10k account.

Try setting that for a personal acct...and record your stats each week

If you hit the limit, take a break of like 3 days


Also, follow what @Gabsonfx2 said, sometimes, it is better to have wide stop loss and allow the market run in your favour.

@fxwarrior also made a good post that it is better to focus on one direction.

The most dangerous thing is to be shorting in a range bound market or a market that will soon enter into a range. ... unless you are a scalper, stop taking shorts every time you see reversal signals on 1h chart and even on 4h chart if market has not broken key areas.

If market does not look like Nzdchf chart om 4h from 11/10/2023 till 20/10/2023, focus on buying below base or taking shorts after a key level is swept off.

I believe that if I have lost 500 trades, at least 300 have come from the errors I pointed out above.
