This post has been on for more than a year. I guess you would have received numerous pieces of advice (some good, some bad, yet others very bad). You may have also sorted this challenge out by now, or even the problem may have passed just like everything will eventually pass away with time. For the benefit of those who may have such challenges at the moment, my suggestion is that they take heart. Review your relationship and work things out if you can. The Lord is your strength. It is all about relationships.

You need to understand that things will always change, either for better or for worse.
Your role is to adapt and manage that change to achieve your desired objectives.
If my understanding of your situation is correct, I suggest you talk less (argue less with your husband).
Make him happy, accomodate most of his faults, and support him. Actually that is your role in the marriage - to help your husband, not to argue and confront. If you can't control yourself when an argument is about to take off, just pour some water into your mouth and hold it there until he calms down).
Some men are something else. Look upto God and bring him into your marriage. Don't give up, my dear.

It is no longer news tha Obama won the American presidential election. Congrats to him.

To me, the person who should be celebrated most is McCain.
Not just because he fought a great battle and lost gallantly but mainly because he became greater in defeat.
He has become a greater statesman. He is my main guy.

I have listened to, watched, and read his acceptance of defeat speech several times. The speech is loaded
and should go down in history as the best speech ever. Please read the speech again.

If he had made such speeches within the past 21 months, the outcome may have been different, or at least the race would have been tougher.

I congratulate him once again. No doubt, he will remain my main guy.

The Americans as well as the rest of the world are excited that a black man has finally become the President of the United States of America. What's the big deal. Nigeria achieved same feat when the blacs took over from white colonial masters in 1960. What Nigeria did 48 years ago, America is just doing. It is in us. Congrats Naija. We are ahead.
