you will need two programs

Rkill (you can find it at cnet.com)
malwarebytes ( you can find it at cnet.com)

download both programs to a thumb drive and enter the computer withthe problem in safe mode. Run rkill which stops all malware activities then install, update and run malwarebytes (do full scan) restart your computer and you should be good.

Note: you must have internet connection so malwarebytes can update.

After it's done you would then go to folder options in control panel and "show all hidden folders" and then unhide the folders you were looking for. After that go back to folder options and uncheck the show hidden folders.

first try doing a repair from the operating system disc. You would have to boot from the disc and instead of doing an install, you would do a repair. if you are using windows 7 it will search for faults automatically and try to fix em. If you know more about computers, enter the command prompt from the repair mode and try a fix boot command. If not see a tech who can try different things for you.

if your version of windows is legal install microsoft security essentials, it detects and cleans out those viruses

now if you want to make your folders visible on your flash drive, there's a dos command to do it; just cd to the drive, for instance if your drive is e then type "e:" which will take you to the drive, then type: "attrib -r -s -h /d /s" p.s. don't include the quotes with the commands

I found this for you online which is from an HP employee because they know about the issue you have been seeing:

Perform a hard reset on the Notebook. To perform a hard reset, follow the steps below.

•Unplug the AC adapter from the notebook PC.
•Remove the battery from the notebook battery compartment.
•Disconnect any external devices or peripherals connected to the notebook. Press and hold down the power button for about 15 seconds

After this ,Turn ON the Notebook and install latest BIOS and touchpad drivers from from the HP website.

Even Airtel at times does this.Solution is: download freedom software and use it for that purpose.It will show the CAPTCHA

However the megabite still runs out fast as soon as i connect through my modem even when i do not open any browser.
House, what can i do because a subscrption that would normally last for twenty days now hardly last for five.
I use a compaq presario f700 with windows vista.

i hope other guys contribute to this but most of the time when you uninstall an anti virus it still leaves a lot of it's services on your computer. What you might want to do is, an msconfig services edit.

i will not explain this in detail because if you dont know what you are doing you might mess up the important services needed on your computer. Basically you will be turning off services your computer doesn't need in msconfig. if you dont know what you are doing pls see a tech who can work on that for you. Then again i might be wrong so guys contribute
