Chapter 11



Adanna and Samuel walked hand in hand into the gallery. It was the day for Adams' gallery show and she decided to invite her husband along she did not
tell him about the painting because she wanted to surprise him.


She did not have to wait for long because as soon as they stepped into the place her portrait stared down at them. It just seemed like she was looking at a mirror, she was spellbound and just kept walking towards the
portrait till she stood in front of it.

"Its beautiful right?" She heard behind her,turning around she discovered it was Adams talking.

"Yes it is,its marvelous. I must commend you for the pic and congratulations on your show case it looks like every body is pleased with all they have been seeing.

" thanks" he replied

At that moment her husband joined them and she introduced them to each other .

"You are incredibly talented" her husband said to Adams who shrugged it off like it was nothing.



At that moment one of the reporter for one of the major magazine in the country walked up to them and introduced herself and then asked Adanna and Adams to take a picture together while they were posing for the photo she asked

"So are you guys dating?"

"No,we are not" Adanna replied quickly and pointed at her husband telling the reporter that she was married.

"Okay sorry my bad, you must be lucky to have married a man who did not mind another man painting you, well have a lovely evening" she said and walked away.

"Am really sorry for that" Adams said

"There is no need for that" she replied.

He couldn't argue more as his dealer Susan walked up to them and after a little chit chat she took Adams with her to go and greet other clients and people who were in attendance.



As soon as they left her husband grabbed her by the arms

"You never told me anything about this painting" he said pointing at her portrait.

"Well I did not say anything because I wanted to surprise you,isn't it lovely?" She replied smiling at him

"If I may ask where did you guys stay to paint the picture"

"In our house of course"

"You mean why I was in the office working my ass off so we can eat and you are inviting men over right?" He said

"Excuse me, what men did I invite over, just because someone painted me doesn't mean anything" she replied not trying to hide the anger in her voice as she spoke

"Well it shouldn't repeat it self again" he said

"Lord Samuel last time I checked we both lived in that house so I can invite who ever I want"

"Really huh,so tell me whats the next thing ,you are going to invite him to our bed too" he said but before she could replied a very beautiful lady
walked up to them

"Hi Samuel its been a while"

"Hi Kylie nice to see you again, you remember my wife right?" He said as the two women exchanged pleasantries

"Honey this lady here is the one that decorated our home" he said

"Oh my goodness you did a marvelous job,I love everything you did" Adanna said

"Thanks am blushing right now" Kylie replied

"So Kylie I never knew you were an art fan" her husband said

"Oh yes I enjoy art but more than that my sister is Adams' dealer." She said as she looked at the portrait above them and then turning to Adanna she said

"Wait,you are the person Adams used for the painting, how long have you been modelling?"

"Am not a model,I just posed for Adams since we are friends" she said

"Oh,now I see, well then you must have a very understanding husband. Well I come around to visit Adams once in a while"

"Wow, maybe next time when you come to see him you can drop by and visit me" Adanna said

"Well I just might" Kylie said as she bade them goodbye but not before hugging Samuel in an embrace that did not seem to end.




After greeting with people who came to see his art Adams stood by a corner slowly sipping his champagne while he digested his success.

"Adams we finally did it" he heard Susan said as she walked up to him

"Everybody is saying good things about everything but everybody is also wondering why you won't sell the portrait I mean we already have offers going towards eight figures". She added

" Well it seems we might get the critical acclaim we have always wanted" he said avoiding her question.

"Yes you are right but why don't you want sell that portrait?"

"Its just special to me okay,let's just leave it at that" he said.

They talked about other things and then mixed with people who came to the event.

Adanna is busy in the kitchen when she heard the doorbell ring,she was surprised to see Adams with flowers at her door. They exchanged pleasantries and she invited him in,he stayed with her as she did her
chores and they talked about a lot of things including his success the previous night. They ate together before he left her to go run some errands.




Samuel is through from work and decided to go and see Kylie so he can put an end to her childish acts. He prepared his speech in the car on his way but became tongue tied the moment she opened the door due to what she was wearing,he knew it was a bad idea to go in with her but he couldn't help himself and followed as she led the way.

She did not go to her living room as she usually did rather she went into her bedroom and after she sat down on her bed with her legs crossed seductively she asked what he wanted from her.
He really wanted to speak but somehow couldn't even say a word and without being in control of himself he walked forward and kissed her and one thing led to another.




Samuel woke up hours to see Kylie lying beside him on the bed and her legs wrapped around his waist,he looked around while he tried to remember where
he was and what led to their current situation while trying to get his thoughts together Kylie woke up and seeing him she broke into a smile and reached out to kiss him.

He did not want to disappoint her so he allowed the kiss and after a while he told he wanted to go back home to his wife,she wasn't really happy about it but insisted he stayed for dinner before he left which he agreed to and after that he left for his house.

Chapter 12
The drive home was slow and steady as Samuel had a lot of things going through his mind,he couldn't believe he had just cheated on his wife. He always thought he was different from other men who did such but I guess hewas just like every other guy. The thing that troubled him the most was that he had lasted longer on Kylie than he had ever done with his wife. Is it that his body did not find his wife attractive or is it because he found
his wife boring in bed. Wait, did he just say his wife is boring in bed?

Where are all this thoughts coming from he had never thought of her in this way but he had to admit compare to Kylie his wife had nothing on her. He was in no way saying Kylie was more beautiful than his wife,I mean she doesn't even hold a candle light near his wife but she knew everything he wanted,she knew just the right spot to touch and she did not just lie there like a piece of wood.

He got home safely and headed up the stairs and straight to the bathroom as usual. When he stepped into his room after his bath his saw his wife sleeping on her side of the bed and he felt a pang of pain wash over him. How on earth could he have stoop so low and cheat on his wife. He slept late that night with his thoughts running wide.



Samuel is in the office stressed out from his work and his thoughts. His mind kept telling him to continue with the affair but deep within him he wasn't comfortable with the idea. After long consideration he decided to
stick with his wife it was best for him and at least he will have peace of mind. He continued with work,trying to finish the pile of things on his desk. It was not long before his phone received a message and when he
opened it to find a Unclad pic of Kylie with a message that she was waiting for him. He decided to ignore the message and face his work but his mind
kept drifting back to the pic in his phone and he found himself staring at the pic all over again and wondering what will happen if he just go over to her house. I mean what can possibly happen and this will be the last time
he will cheat on his wife. He will just have one final rump with Kylie and call it quit. He contemplated on this for a while and then decided to just take his chances and see Kylie one last time.


In no time he was in her house and true to her words she was Unclad waiting for him. If they was any doubt in his mind it flew right out of the window when he saw her all he could think about was joining her in bed. The last thing he remembered was that he kissed her because every other thing seem to happen in a flash,his clothes came off as if controlled by magic and he tried to be in charge as he normally did with his wife but Kylie was not having that and climbed on him. She was in charge of everything and for once he enjoyed just lying there while a woman did all the work.

She started kissing him from his head and kept going down his body. His last coherent thought was when she went down there and taking him all in her mouth. He must have past out or something but the next time he
came up she was riding him and everything just became blurry but he knows deep down he has never been satisfied like this. There was one more round before he returned to the office to finish his work there.



Samuel closed from work and went to his house. He was tempted to go back to Kylie's house but he wanted to play it cool and safe. He did his usual routine when he got back home after eating he went straight to bed. Before he slept he came to the conclusion that he will continue seeing Kylie for the time being but he will end it after a while,yes that's what he will do
and with that he slept off.



The next couple of weeks just changed his schedule. He went to work as usual and then he heads to Kylie's place and then comes home to sleep and after a while he stopped sleeping at home. He started giving work related excuses to his wife and sometimes when he had to he out of time for work he takes Kylie with him and when the business meeting is over he spends extra
more days with Kylie before returning home to his wife.

He started noticing things about his wife that he did not see before like she was too skinny,she doesn't wear matching underwear like Kylie and she never had
makeup on. He kept wondering why she did not make any effort to look good for him. He started get irritated at home and tried his best to spend limited time there. He was forced to eat her food so she won't feel bad it
was not like it was anything compared to what Kylie prepared for him. Well its a good thing he had Kylie in his life now he wondered how he had been able to cope with Adanna this long. More than once the thought of divorcing Adannadanna has been creeping into his thoughts but he decided to give her a couple more months to redeem herself if not he will just pull the plug at this bondage the called marriage.

He better Divorce her so dat she can give Adams a chance. Gud 1, "I want some more".

Chapter 13
Adanna could feel within her that something was wrong but she couldn't quite figure it out. All of a sudden her husband seemed too busy to spend quality time at home,he was always going on trips and even when he is in town he comes home very late and leaves for work very early.

At first she thought it was his new position in the office but some how they no longer connected it seemed that spark that used to attract them to each other was
no longer there. She has gone out of her way to try to bring things back to normal but nothing seem to work.

She doesn't even have time for herself anymore,she does all the chores and then have constantly be cooking all his favorite meals but he only eats a little and leave. She wondered if her food was no longer sweet was it
that she was forgetting some ingredients when she cooked. She was so caught up with trying to get to the root of their issues she no longer took care of herself, she has lost a lot of weight and she wasn't even eating well.

Before she used to complain that her husband did not satisfy her in bed,well he seemed to have heard her complaints because he no longer made attempts to even sleep with her anymore. Even when she tried he kept saying he was tired from work or he had something important to do the next day.

She wanted to confront him about all the issues but decided not to make matters worse than they already were. All she did now was to pray that whatever was going on should pass quickly and she and her husband may return back to normal.

She just finished doing her house chores as usual when the door bell rang and Adams walked in.
"Hey Ad wassap?"
"Am cool and you?"
"All good,long time o as you decided to forget me,you couldn't even call to check on me haba" he said
"Sorry Adams things have just been messy for me down here. So tell me how did the deal go?
"It was great everything went as planned" he replied
"Then why did you spend an extra week?" She asked
"Oh that's because I decided to spend some time with my parents"
Okay,so how are they?"
"They are fine"
"You never ever talk about them why?"
He shrugged and went on to tell about the drift he had with his parents after choosing art as a profession instead of working at the family's consulting firm. When she asked for the name of the firm he told her and
she was surprised cause that's where her husband worked and told him so. He stayed for a while and they talked about a lot of things and a for a whileshe seemed to have forgotten all about her problems at home.

Kylie have been having the best time ever this past weeks. She and Samuel were practically like a married couple except the fact that he wouldn't just divorce that his boring wife. He travelled but will be back today,she
wanted to follow him for the trip but she was really busy with work. She went to buy the ingredients she needed to prepare a meal for him when he returns.

She was almost through when she heard someone called her name from behind dhe turned around just to find Adanna.
"Hi" she said
"Hello Kylie,sorry for disturbing you from your shopping but I just had to be sure it was you"
"No that is no problem na,I would have done the same if I was in your shoes"
"Okay then,I will let you continue with your shopping, am through with mine I only came to get the things i will use to prepare a dish for my husband,he traveled for a business trip".
" Same here am shopping for my fiancé who is also out for a business trip"
"Wow that's nice maybe someday you and him can come over to the house. What do you think about that?" She asked
"Well I will have to speak to him about that first but don't worry I will keep you u posted on anything he says"
"Okay na,will see you some other time" she said as she walked away to pay for her items.
Kylie watched her go and chuckled yeah maybe she should invite her fiance for the dinner or should she say our husband laughing she continued with her shopping.


Hours later........
Adanna has been waiting for her husband to arrive but he was a no show,his numbers were switched off,she even called the airport and was told the flight he was in landed hours ago. She was at a loss because she had no idea where he could be. She did not want to report the matter to the police and discover he just went to the office. Wait she hasn't called his office yet,she got up and went to dial his office line but it kept ringing. She
tried his secretary next and was told her husband came to the office to see their boss but left after the meeting waned. She decided to keep calm and wait till he returns home.

"Kylie,you are the best cook in this world" Samuel said as he helped himself to a plate of pounded yam and afang soup.
"Thanks honey,now hurry up and let's go back upstairs to finish what we started" she said as she winked at him.
Samuel did not need no further invitation he pounced on his meal. He had returned early but had stopped at the office to brief his boss and from there came to Kylie's house where they had tore at each other like hungry
animals. They had spent hours in her room trying to make up for lost time and when he got hungry she served him this wonderful meal. Life is indeed
beautiful when you meet the right person he thought.
After he was through eating, she cleared the table while he went to watch sports highlights in the sitting room. As he sat down on the couch he discovered that his phone that was on the centre table was switched off so he turned it back on,immediately messages started entering his phone and many was from that woman he keeps in the house. Oh Lord have mercy what does she wants again.

He dialed her number and she picked at first ring
"Hello dear,are you alright I have been sending you tons of messages as your phone was switched off"
"Am fine,I just saw them now and that why am calling you"
"Wait so you your saw my messages and that's why you are calling back? Are you not supposed to have called me when your plane landed huh? For goodness sake
I have been worried sick. Where are you by the way?"
"Am at a friend's place am trying to put together my presentation for my boss tomorrow"
"But your secretary told you had already seen your boss today?"
"Well I saw him to give him an important file and by the way while are you keeping tabs on me?"
"For starters am your wife who is worried and you are talking about tabs, are you for real?"
"Look woman I really need to get back to work so what is it you want?"
"Hmmmm,okay are still going to come tonight?"
He was about to respond when Kylie stripped to her bathing suit and stood in front of him seductively
"Errrmmmm,I don't think I can come tonight I will just sleep here tho I will come very early tomorrow to prepare for work" he said without removing his eyes from Kylie he added
"You know what let's continue our conversation tomorrow I have a serious matter at hand here that needs all my concentration" he ended the call and
walked up to Kylie to resume what they had earlier started.

Adanna wanted to speak but the call ended and she was so angry she flung her phone across the room and started screaming. She had no idea why she did it but it felt so nice screaming that she did again. She walked up to the dinning table where she had earlier arranged his food and pushed everything to the floor. Everything spilled and some plates broke making a loud bang but she did not seem to bother, she just walked up to her room and slept.

Chapter 14
Adanna woke up the next morning to see Samuel's clothes on the floor but he wasn't anywhere to be found,maybe he came to dress and went back out. Well
its not like she was surprised anymore. She forced her self to rise up and went to that bathroom and brush her teeth.

With that out of the way she proceeded down stairs to start her chores. When she walked into the dinning
room she saw the mess she did last night and a wave of anger just swept through her all over again,with annoyance she started cleaning the place up not minding that there were broken pieces of glass everywhere. When she was through with that she washed the dishes and then did the cleaning and
dusting of the places that required it. Next came the cooking and cleaning the kitchen after everything.

She was tired and sweaty and decided to go wash herself up. When she entered the master bedroom she saw the clothes Samuel had earlier left on the floor,she wanted to ignore them but it was making the room look unkept so she picked it up and as she was folding the clothes she perceived a strange perfume on them she sniffed them again to be sure and it doesn't smell like Samuel's perfume. She decided to scan the clothes thoroughly with her eyes and that's when she came across lipstick stains,then mascara marks wait hope its not what she was thinking. Was her husband having an
affair outside their marriage,the thought of that made her to sit down on the bed. Well that seems to be the only explanation as to why he has been behaving strangely buy why will he cheat is that she wasn't a good wife or what,she quit her job to be a housewife when he asked her to and she has always done anything he asked so where is the fault coming from. Is that
the other lady was more beautiful or was she more caring. Well she wasn't going to let her marriage go down the drain like that she will fight for her husband even if its the last thing she does on this earth.

She quickly had her bath and wore a short gown that was giving to her by her chief bridesmaid as a honeymoon gift,she never saw the need for it
before but today it seemed to suit her plans just well. She wore a pair of red Six inches heels,well it didn't matter that she never wore heels but hey she had to show her husband what it had and that any other lady will just be second best. She proceeded to put on makeup,wow it felt good to wear makeup again its been a while she really took the time to make herself look good. She added some jewelries to complete her look. She went to dish some food into a flask after all she needed an excuse as to why she was visiting him in the office. That done she step out of the house and
used the other car and off she went to his office.

She pulled up at his work place and walked into the elevator where two other women were also inside. One of the woman said
"Hmmm,my boss has been playing away from his wife oo"

"Tell me something, with who" the other replied

"That lekpa girl that is always coming around na,that likes feeling like beauty queen,whats that her name again sef" she said biting her fingers

"That one that speaks one kind lie lie English? Yes I know her but I dunno her name but forget name, gist me the koko"

"He has been seeing her for weeks now oo,she comes to the office any time she wants and na so she go the order me about even when he traveled recently sef he did not go home na so the wife find am so tey she call me sef"

"Wait oo,this one wey you the act surprise she never ever call you before abi wetin"

"Call gini,for what na,to be honest I have never seen that woman in my life I don't even know her,I was surprised that day sef,she dey ask me whether her Oga come office,me sef no know wetin the happen I come tell her say him come oo to see him oga but him don go sha"

"Oh my gosh,snitch like you,your oga no break your head"

"My dear,no be small warning I receive that day oo,him say if his wife call I should say he is in a business meeting period" she said and burst into laughter

"Chai,see lie na,abi meeting no the end for im mind"

"Maybe the type meeting wey him and Mrs Americana dey do no get end" she said as the both bust into laughter.
At that moment the elevator opened and the ladies got out but Adanna couldn't move a step,she was confused she wondered if it was her husband they were talking about or it was just a random guy at the office but that was exactly the sane conversation she had with her husband's Secretary when she called. At that moment she decided to just go back home,so all her
dressing was nothing.

On the drive home she decided to just give the food in the flask to Adams, lord knows he will appreciate the food. When she got home she parked the car in the compound and then went to Adam's place next door. She walked into his house to find him with just his shorts on playing video games,he did not even notice her so she just silently walked behind him and then
tickled him,he jumped off his chair and then turn around to see her

"Geez Ad you want to give a grown man a heart attack huh?

" Its just a joke joor,I brought food for you" she said as she handed the flask to him

"Thanks,so is it for me you are all dressed up for cos I have to say I like what I see" he said and winked

"Thanks but no its not for you I went to see my husband" as soon as she said that her mood just changed and she added

"You know what I will just head back home" then turned around to leave. .
Adams quickly grabbed her arms and brought her back.
"You are not leaving until we eat this food together" he said while he pulled her round the couch and made her sit on it. He quickly opened the food and started to dig in,after a couple of spoons, he turned to her

"Open your mouth" and when she did he fed her. They continued like this till the meal go finished.

"Okay now that we are through eating can you tell me what have been disturbing you" he asked as he looked her straight into the eyes

"Nothing really am just stressed out" she replied

"Tell that lie to someone who don't know you,so please out with the real reason now" he said

She wanted to tell him everything but she couldn't and he was just staring at her and she thought if Samuel can cheat on me why not do the same and without thinking it through she just leaned in and kissed him.

It was obvious he was caught of guard because he didn't react at first he just stood still but she kept rubbing her lips against his until he parted his and she got full control. She was kissing him as if her life
depended on it and was thinking about taking it to the next level when he pulled back from her suddenly

"What is wrong with you Adanna,you normally don't behave like this?"

"Just forget about what is wrong and kiss me,comon I know you want to" she said as she leaned in to kiss him but he shifted back from her,not wanted to take no for answer she used her hands to grabbed his next and pounced on him again but not for long because he came out from clutch and stood up staring at her as if she was mad. At this point the wide thought of making
out with him fled away and she felt ashamed and she hurriedly stood up too and ran out of his house.
