cheesy grin grin trying to remove his hand in 18 Yard box as a defender once your hand isn't in a natural position and obstruct a goal bound effort it a penalty and it attracts yellow card in some cases whether intentional or not depending on The ref discretion and the ref didn't initially made the call till VAR called his attention wink and had to check the monitor for confirmation smiley

Go and check the video again, he is running so there is no way his hand would be at a natural position all the time, going by your logic every handball in the 18 yard should be a yellow card and Koulibally is actively trying to remove his hand from point blank range so that makes it more ridiculous

It is not a horror injury.

He could probably have continued, but his visibility would have been affected. That's a regular head injury we have normally when heads collide. He should be back in training tomorrow.

He couldn't have continued, his eye swelling is a manifestation of the damage his head received

According to reports, the ministry of sports is already heavily involved in the Rohr saga... NFF can't appoint a new coach without the ministry knowledge yet...
Things might get messy....

The ministry can only be briefed. The NFF has FIFA backings and can appoint and sack whom they wish to. Nothing messy here no be ministry dey pay Rohr salary so they don't really have a say regarding that.

I didn’t watch the match but going by your argument, it seems the ball was goal bound. If it was goal bound then he is lucky to even get a yellow. Whether he was trying to remove his hand or not does not change the fact that his hand touched the ball so why should it not be called? Because he was trying to remove his hand

It's a horror injury... As long as there was swelling on his head and eyes he would have never been allowed to continue.

Any head injury is taking seriously.. so please stop mis-informing people.

In today's sports there's no such thing as a "regular head injury" the fact that you can come up with such description shows how wicked and evil and inconsiderate you are..

You do not understand what I mean by horror injuries.

Head injuries are always dangerous because of how delicate the head is. However, the worst and real horror injuries are internal. Outside injuries such as swelling and bleeding are usually good signs. The injuries you cannot see (internal bleeding, concussions) are far worse. With massages and proper treatment, he will be back in a few days maybe with a headband or some sort of headgear.

For example, the injury Ospina had was far more dangerous than Osimhen's, even though Ospina continued. Di Lorenzo had to put his hand in Ospina's mouth to stop him from choking to death. That was how bad it was.

appointing a coach should not be a case of tubutubu mess am. After having a coach like Rorh who Pinnick had said he took a risk on, NFF need to do proper homework before naming the next coach,. We do not need a Rohr 2.0

doing the same things and expecting a different result is the best definition of insanity.

The NFF isn't in anyway independent of the ministry of sports... In fact, they still depend a lot on them... So, don't say the ministry can't interfere... The NFF is still under the jurisdiction of the ministry...

Yet they say he doesn't give young players opportunities
I think the man is unjustly criticized most times
Well he's a drama king himself though

Krstajic, interview with FIFA:

You have been the coach since 2017. What did you change?
I am aware that I am a young coach and that experience will come with age. The essence of my coaching philosophy is that I like attacking football - football where we play to score, and I will press for it whenever we have a possibility for it. But, of course, that is not possible all the time. One has to take into account many things: the quality of the opponents’ team, players they have at their disposal and so on.

Afene-gyan just scored a wonder second goal, the last kick of the game. Roma 2-0 Genoa. Did I mention he was a 75th minute sub?

First player born in 2003 to score in Serie A. Ghana are eating good.

He may not be our coach, we'll get a name definitely this week but may not be this guy.

Just heard Antonio Pizzi has indicated interest in the position. Many more would unravel as the day goes by

Ghana is like Nigeria, have talents but depends mainly on the Ayew who apparently aren't at their best.

New coach syndrome I guess. Playing some players off position. Aribo was among the front 3

if pizzi is truly interested then he his definitely my pick over Krstajic because he has won an international trophy and also plays possession and attacking style of play and more even grounded in the system of tiki taka than amunike wink
