Uzoho is using his real age jor
safarigirl:

It is all because he has been getting praises from women, so, today, they just want to hate on him

They are calling it banter, but a lot of it is premeditated. If it was Uzoho, they will say it is because he faked his age

Nigerians kill me, I swear.

These Nwakali slanders aren't justifiable at all.. The guy had a good game.. Obviously he was brought in to stabilize the midfield, which he did perfectly well.. It's funny that some people are attacking him for making back passes when in reality, most of our players today made a lot of back passes too..

The one and only time Salah was a real threat, it was Maduka that quenched him and he was only a threat because Ekong tried to play a fast one that was not so fast.

Una go just make person dey defend who dem no even suppose dey defend.

Quenched what? Any body would have made that save. The only reason Okoye made that save was because salah was off balance before he weakly struck the ball.

Do you realise Peseiro is in the dressing room of the Super Eagles? How are you so sure this upturn in performance is not down to his mere presence?

FYI

What was his mistake that led to any goal ? Point this out

Senegal yen yen yen ,people that cannot attack Zimbabwe

Oga make I hear word

Even my grandma notice how shaky he was.

Maybe you were drunk when watching the match.

The commentator said it... when he couldn't catch the ball on air and dropped it mistakenly on the ground.

WHEN THEY WAS NO PRESSURE AT ALL

OKOYE IS SHAKY

Lol do you have proof of this claim e.g reported news or you are just assuming he is?

He's just assuming, the man is no where in Cameroon

Please stop this.

Okoye is the Number 1. Support him no matter how uncool you are with him in Goal. To be Frank, he hasn't put a foot wrong in this tournament.

But he makes amateurish mistakes which I believe comes from lack of composure. I've seen him hold his own down at Sparta, so I know he has it in him but he should be calm abeg.

That's one thing I loved about Carl Ikeme, his composure in goal was top notch

Couple of blunders like what ?

He didn’t make any blunder against Egypt ,he didn’t do anything that caused any goal today but a couple of blunders ,you Dey hear yourself ?

Subzero047 has already quoted my previous post on the blunders in this match alone, so I wont repeat it or u want to claim that those didnt happen?

You always make things look more complicated than they are. The midfield was weak and porous in most of first half. The early goal sort of masked the alarming rate at which our midfield was overran. You can still praise Aribo and still be objective.

How many attempts at goals did the Sudanese have in the first half if our midfield was actually porous?

How many attempts at goals did we have in the first half?

I am not praising or pulling down any individual here, rather, I am telling you our game plan today.

He is the first choice and there to stay ,nothing you guys can do

Na so una talk for akpeyi for last afcon ,dude made so many saves ,instead of una to blame ndidi to that reckless tackle against Algeria una blame akpeyi for not saving the free kick

what?? he hasn't put a wrong foot forward?? make we take am easy dey cap.

I can count three in this match alone off the top of my head without rewatching.

First, he jumped to catch a ball (not under pressure I must add) and dropped the ball, luckily the Sudan forward wasnt close enough to make us pay.

Second he tried punch out a ball and it dropped right in front of him, luckily it was a green shirt.

Third, when he tried to dive to try an mop up the ball that Omeruo not took out.

Okoye has the knack to be unnecessarily jittery at times.

Yea but we are topping this group, I can bet on that. Our last game we must play to win regardless of who plays.

Isn't it surprising that okoye is the number one choice?

Aside from the fact he's not spectacular, he's also young and new. Hasn't really done anything worth noticeable since he joined the super eagles or anything to merit being first choice

Uzoho seems more matured and has actually been tested

Regardless of the outcome of Egypt Vs Guinea Bissau. The next match needs a new starting lineup

I think uzoho can prove he should be number one

Chukwueze's quality seems to have diminished badly since he broke onto the spotlight. So has his confidence. Man's now scared as hell to take on defenders. I would've accused the coach of restricting him but how come Simon is doing the exact opposite?

I hope Chukwueze's goal today does something positive for his confidence. In the meantime, Iwobi should start ahead of him on that right wing. Plain and simple.
Iwobi will not perform better on the right. If you notice, it was when he drifted into the middle that he played well.

Egypt done score. If they win that means Naija might need a win Vs Guinea Bissau to top group

Still want to see a new starting lineup. Believe the second 11 can still deliver. They're still top guys with a lot of potentials

He has been very poor. I would prefer Musa coming in to replace Awoniyi as top 9 rather than Sadiq.

He is doing himself not us...
Quite a good number of monikers here including me clamoured for his call up based on his club form. But obviously he hasn't taken the chances he's been getting.. If he doesn't impress this AFCON,he might not get called up again for a while.. We still have Osimhen, Dennis, Dessers, Onuachu

Seems so. Cos you can talk about him with Nwakali in the equation.

I agree with you on Aribo only to the extent that he was not in the game for like 10-15 minutes after we scored but he recovered well.
I do not think Nwakali is better than him

I have a question to ask

APART FROM OKOYE don't we have a better Goal keeper?

Abi hu na nor watch the match?

That guy is tensed whenever the opponents attacks.

Even the commentator made mention of it.

If we are going to go far in this tournament.

OKOYE needs to be replaced.

Because if we meet cameron or senegal na Goals we go just dey pack left and right.
Once they penetrate our defense

Why.

Because the goal keeper is still inexperience.

When watch OKOYE in the pitch I see a kid who still needs massive tutoring before putting him as our number 1

I don talk my own.

You all are ignoring.

The day we go collect!!!!

Na that day hu na go start to cry.

Just take a look at the penalty

Dude is the definition of an amateur.

Sure he was shaky

But that was a good penalty... like a very good penalty
