Amunike utilised a Deep lying playmaker model at U17 level. A bold and risky move that paid off. He played a lad with the skillset of a #10 as a deep-lying maestro. That is the man you say don't know how to experiment??

Onyedika's CDM profile is similar in certain attributes to that of a DLP but the difference is that a DLP is far more eagle-eyed, far more creative, dictate plays better and less concerned with defensive duties compared to the Holding MF CDM Onyedika-type.

So there is no way Amunike won't see the need to utilise Onyedika's skills set either as a single pivot or in a double pivot or even a false double pivot as he exhibited in the U17s and U20s.

Good understanding. Good exposition.

I have done my own studies. Amunike deserves the reins.

I have seen the shortlisted foreign coaches, Amunike is still ahead of those coaches in: pattern, innovations and discipline,

Please what did Amuneke innovate? Where and how?
The same Amuneke that lost 4-3 to Sudan at home with some of the best talent at the under 23 level. Dey play!

NFF TV is showing the game now. Clear without any network problem.

At least two South Africans should have received a red card.

Ihuzeo na baller. The South Africans had breathing space immediately Ihezuo, Kanu and Echejini left the pitch.

Because of a waterlogged pitch at Teslim Balogun stadium which nullified their passing game which was their big strength and edge. As far as I am concerned, that was a case of sabotage and NFF should work towards our strength. That was the only match they lost in about 50 games.

Lol. Otto Gloria.

Yes you are right but Otto didnโ€™t take us to WC so I will rate Westerhof and Keshi for winning Afcon and reached WC 2nd round.

I donโ€™t mind seeing our own as eagles coach, enough of hyping poor rated European or South American coaches for eagles job.

Bonfrere Jo (Olympic Gold), Manfred Hoener (afcon silver, trophy was stolen from us), Otto Gloria, Father Tiko, Pacero, Bora Multivitamin, Rohr.
Talking super eagles give it to Westerhof and Keshiโ€ฆ..oh you forgot Siasia won Silver and bronze Olympic.Onigbinde took young team to Ivory Coast 84 and reached finalโ€ฆ.Peseiro and Bora are poor.Shuaib Amodu qualified Nigeria to WC twice, coach Paul Hamilton did well with eagles and Manfred Hoener testified to it.

My point if we canโ€™t get good foreign coach then we look inward for local ones.

I wasn't comparing local coaches to the foreign ones sir, i was just listing out those who won something or went beyond 1st round in WC. Also Shuaibu (RIP) won 2 afcon bronze and 2 world cup qualifications for us.

Onigbinde - afcon silver 1984
Amodu - 2 afcon bronze, 2 WC qualifications
Though Siasia failed on the SE job, he won an Olympic silver and bronze with the U23.

But Amuneke coached at senior level, even two teams in npfl. Why the results aint coming like the Alonso and Giardiola?

Deserved. Like I said several weeks ago, the lad has surely shown certain sound improvements in his gameplay. Another player I need back in the Super Eagles with time.

But your take on none of our wingers worthy enough or tactically qualified enough to start for Antwerp. I still no gree.

Ok, you are free to have your opinion.

Let me make my opinion clearer; with the likes of Balikwisha present in the team, and used as wingers, considering how Antwerp likes to play, none of our wingers will start any match, because they lack the skills required to thrive there.
