At this Stage, I expect Everyone to be optimistic. Winning the AFCON is more than lifting the Trophy, also it's gonna bring fresh Air of Peace and Unity to the Country.

We can argue the Tactics, discuss the Opponent, what needs to be done, critic fairly if having a contrary view to a particular post without name-calling.

Operation Nigeria has Fallen.

A country where none of its seven letters appear in The Word "July" will win it.

The countries are all Seven lettered. All have A letter in their name. And we are in the 7th month of July.

The team that July cannot detect will triumph. July captures L in Senegal.... Captures L in Algeria.... And captures U in Tunisia. In Nigeria, July captures nothing thus bows to the Super Eagles. grin

July does not have a number to do on Nigeria. Nigeria is invulnerable to July's attack... We cannot be captured by July.

RIDDLE SOLVED. kikikikikikiki.... grin

They are a reserve team simply because the government owns both but that will obviously change if they (starlets) gain promotion. Their players come from the area and are very talented. My only issue will be on their transfer policy because they can't stay in the league with the same players.

Makes sense

The message is simple, we did not compete to the best of our ability due to our target and set up.

A country has not made it to the tournament in 4 years and u are saying bronze isn't good enough. Does that even sound normal in your head? Abeg think what you want I am not wasting my time to discuss such.

A lot of the reasons why we did not qualify was because of NFF in house fighting. The fact remains an achievable bar was set and hitting it does not make it special.

How exactly is Herve Renard better than Rohr?

Imagine not passing to quarterfinals with arguably the most talented team in the tournament, You say he is an attacking coach did you watch the match against Benin, they lacked bite and were lucky to score through a defensive mistake

The grass is always greener on the other side for you guys
they scored only 3 goals all tournament long, despite the brilliant attackers they possess

I want to see SE improve in their tactical play. The trophies will come. It won’t come overnight.

andrew444:

He is not a bad coach and wont be bad for the eagles either

But all i am saying is that we might not value what we have and others will (one man food is another man poison)

But if the so called renard is our coach, make him just go afcon no pass quarter final, complain don start

Not qualifying for AFCON is abnormal for us. That’s not going to change our standards. We are Nigeria. A country of hundreds of million football fanatics. We should be the Brazil of Africa going by the money and interest we have put in the game for decades now. We must not lower our standards. Me, I’m not celebrating the bronze, all though anything short of a top 4 finish wold have been disappointing. I knew what Rohr could achieve with the talents at his disposal. He didn’t disappoint me, neither did he surprise me.

DrLikita12:
NNL playoffs actually held today (not the 24th as I had earlier read).
Warri Wolves, Adamawa United, Jigawa Golden Stars and Akwa Starlets promoted.
Shooting Stars lives to fight another day.

Enyimba stays poaching players...from Ebube Duru to Olisema, James Bala, Mbaoma, etc.

Leave Rohr alone. He irks me too. But he's building something to me.

From the SE team alone, we can get an u23 team . We too dey faya coaches.

Mind you, other countries know Rohr's value if you guys dont. Lets build.
