so it's now local coach vs Rohr.
Rohr needs a very sound tactical assistant. He has enough Nigerian assistants already. So preferably a PROVEN tactically, foreign assistant.

Sportilitica:

Honestly, i really hope he can step aside then we can bring in a local coach or anyone of your choice. But don't come back and complain again o. We largely have average players and some potentials who need time to understand each other. Rohr is conservative, yes but a lot of players seem to be benefitting from him directly or indirectly and that us what we need. In a year or two we should have good players in the team then we can speak of tactics

Caustic gutter language is not within my rhetoric.

Irrespective of provocation there are some people I just don't engage with AT ALL. Because l will not descend to the gutter where they have come from.

I am sadly disappointed with you descending to that level, that's all.

Finally, it's a faceless forum but you NEVER KNOW when you may come across someone and virtual becomes REALITY.

Tega is British. We have made several attempts already.. So forget the matter!
komekn:
[sup][/sup]

My football proposition substantiated.

Two outstanding lions from the Championship are currently dominating the EPL. Yet many will day the Championship is too poor in quality for us to be selecting players for the SE.

Our most consistent and arguably top performing midfield players Etebo plays in the Championship. And he us not the most outstanding.

As it stands currently Ebere Eze and Ovie Ejaria are outperforming him. Yet they haven't been invited.

The best CB in the Championship last season IMO was Fikayo. It seems he has transfered that ability to the EPL.

I remember when Tega Abrahams was being slated some even said he is not as good as Sadiq Umar. Some even said he is no where on the level of KC such extreme delusional thinking. I know one person who said he is only a Championship striker that's his level, whatever that means.

Tega Abrahams has scored 7 goals in 5 games he is now the top goal scorer in the EPL.

All the detractors and those giving him dogs abuse have gone quite I WONDER WHY.

Competition always I like that. Anyone who is performing should be welcome to fight for a shirt. Someone like Samu will not be selfish if he knows the next moment someone else will take his starting spot. We need to promote competition always and excellence.
Odunayaw:
After 4 goals and a good number of assist? Is that not the same report card of Aribo? I think we need another left footed RW to make Chukwueze stand on his toes. I was very pissed with his display against Ukraine

I fear oh.. Those of us that said we should not make a second attempt on him have been vindicated.
not to talk of those that said even if he returns we should never accept him.
Anyways he remains a Nigerian. He will continue to hoist the Nigerian flag, but clearly his heart is with England.

charlesemeka85:
Tammy should be a forgotten issue. The nff tried their best but the bobo's mind is set on playing for england. We wish him well

Ansu Fati was born in Bissau to Guinea Bissau parents. So I didn't see what makes him directly eligible to play for Portugal. If at all any other country wants to claim him it should be Spain and not Portugal even though the later were their former Colonial masters. Or am I missing something here?

Below is the excerpt from articles I read on top sites like BBC, caughtoffside.com, 90min.com, sport-english.com et al;

Please take note of the bolded -
".......Fati is eligible to play for three
countries: Guinea-Bissau, as it was his place of
birth, Portugal - as Guinea-Bissau is a former
colony,
and Spain, because the youngster has
been living there since he was six."

First, of all if you can find one post on this forum where I have used profane language. l will apologise with monetary restitution.

There is no rancour on my part what so ever and no sword has been drawn that needs to be sheathed.

I simply don't expect anybody to use profanities in thier write ups, irrespective of the provocation. That's what l pointed out as unbecoming of anybody but more so of a lady.

And expressed sad dissapointment.

She reiterated that was the language of football and being in England l should know that.

I went a bit personal by explaining that behaviour is no longer acceptable and the norm and gave personsl examples to buttress my experiential view that has now been misconstrued as posturing and some sort of hype by a few.

Oga that language will be a norm forever amongst fans. No one is going to ever change it until Gods kingdom comes. In a sport where people are murdered for making a simple mistake, you are trying to make the language decent, racist chants are not even gone yet and you are talking of clean words, just because one or two clubs you know are trying to sanitize their players language, let them succeed there first, england then Europe before you start championing the crusade and vilifying someone here. When you continously and unrepentantly called someone a wasteman here, to you it was blessed word and not a curse word.
When keita unnecessarily got a red card in the SE everyone cursed him to death...that is fandom and with a sport played with passion and people emotionally heavily invested that's the way it would be.
The young lady even explained the rationale behind her expletives and you are still gungho on the matter. Emevia, WO SUNU, kilowa de, ishi gini.

I have always appreciated your resilience and robust attempts to clarify your positions, but you need also to drop the chip and lower the chin, maybe you have acquired some English arrogance subconsciously, cause it appears so. You have recently repeatedly been using superdelusional and we all know who that is aimed at even though he has not come after you for it, but you seem to have fallen in love with the word.

Officer calm down o.

How come Ansu Fati is eligible for Portugal bkus Guinnea Bissau was colonised by Portugal, but, players from anglophone and Franco countries are never automatically eligible for England and France respectively?

Where are my fellow lovers of history? Junny.jake, ico.n4s, Nerdy et al

That Guinea Bissau was colonized by Portugal isn't enough to tie the lad to Portugal.

I don't know much about the kid's ancestral ties and how it relates to Portugal, so, I can't really tell.
