This will continue to repeat itself until we start to look at our academies

Somebody is already showcasing Arsenal bench grin

Olowu from that Arsenal academy has declared for Nigeria. You win some, you lose some.

"It's not ethically right to give someone a cap just so they can't play for someone else," said Southgate on the invitation of Tammy Abraham & Fikayo Tomori.

Was this actually what Southgate said concerning Tam and Tomori? seems the list had external influence against the coach then.
P.S It like NFF virus has entered the English FA.

I'm a Chelsea fan but to be honest, Osimehen is better than Tammy. I dont get it why folks here are disturbing themselves about him and should he get 10 caps for England,he brought it upon himself cuz he saw the signs when he was racially abused recently.

As for Tomori, I just pity him cuz he is not built like a CB though makes that up with his pace and awareness but ones someone who is taller comes up,he is gone.

What i'm saying in essence is that they may not last long with the three lions but I wish them the best. Agbolahor and Ibe comes to mind.

With all due respect this your 'More Nigerian, less Nigerian' argument is sh1t, Tammy Abraham is definitely less Nigerian than a Sadiq Umar

One has all his allegiances to Nigeria, the other can pick and choose when to be Nigerian or not, Tammy Abraham blatantly abused that privilege to force the hand of the English FA for a call up, and that may not be the end of his antics

The worst is you cannot even accuse him of not having patriotism because he can choose which country he can identify with

Tell me again, how is Tammy Abraham as much Nigerian as Sadiq Umar?

Call it whatever suits you but none of those English groomed players will bring anything of significance to Super Eagles...maybe they add dept but certainly not superior talent....by the way, you need some drop of arrogance in some occasion.

Agreed

One thing about Nigerians na inferiority complex dey worry them

Once dem born player for abroad dem go dey worship those players

I call it asslicking

Ibe is not good enough to play for the eagles.

Whether he wanted to play for Nigeria or not is not our business because he is at best average...Was he better than Osaze, Utaka or Aiyegbeni ? Answer is NO. English players aren't that good.

this your words...Mazi are flawed...
some english players damn good...
you can't take it from players that have been exposed to the best football academics in the world...... talent is not just enough training and development plays a vital role..
Keane is one of the most deadly striker in the world today and you can't argue that...
he is English and likewise their goal keepers....

please even if you wanna talk down English groomed players.....
the super eagles needs them...
save for Nigeria... England house more Nigeria origin players than any where else...

it is like a second home to Nigerians...and you won't say just because the folks happens to be born abroad the few ones that wanna play for us should be ignored....

I don't see anything bad in those two Chelsea players opting for the 3 lions, that won't stop us from getting as many lads from the English academics as we desire...

Cameroon invited under 23 players for a friendly in this international break.

Look at the list, they invited some of the best under 23, they can muster.

Nigeria could have also engaged our under 23 in this window, The likes of Okereke, Kingsley Michael, Ejuke, Tosin Kehinde, Ofoborh, Dele Bashir etc could have been invited.
