As far as i know, he doesn't.

And the press statement released by NFF, only talked about his professional career and nothing about his qualifications to be a coach.

Basically you are guessing.

how do you know he has no qualification?
Modified: question is for @tbaba1234 not you

He has none.. He might be in the process of getting one but at the moment, there is nothing.

Don’t judge osimhen by his bundesliga ,he only got few minutes there ,not that he was playing all the games and not scoring

Yes haaland is rated higher than osimhen

Then u should stop downplaying Haaland achievements with Salzburg.. Osimhen also played in Belgium..

hmmmmm. He's just an assistant, Rhor has his own assistant coach who he trust with tactical input not sure Imama contributed much too, not like that one sef get anything to contribute

So he is going there as an apprentice, learning the job?

What sets Yobo apart?

Finidi will have his opportunity soon to show his ability.
abi o, that's how Oliseh criticised keshi so tey even failed to congratulate him after winning Afcon. When he took over I'm sure he saw how easy the job is

ohh boi but there is no deference with what I put up nahh i said both Tammy and Haaland are above oshimen for now

sure I know Haaland played in a farmers league but you can't compare their pedigree in that league and the sort of one eyed men they have got in that league filled with teams with blind players...so it makes them look so good whenever they play other opponents in the Austrian league
but oshimen never had that opportunity in Belgium and now France...

but still I will rate both Tammy and Harland above oshimen

Na u I quote so?

Only in Nigeria that people clamour for head coaches to become assistants.

This talk is ridiculous. Number one he is the assistant coach not U23 or CHAN. I don't even know what most assistant coaches look like. U people just feel like u should be angry but there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Yobo will be a super addition mark my words

You have a point. Yobo might be there to carryout fitness training. He is a fit chap, took care of his body well and did a good job with his wife (Adaeze).

If u don't have definitive evidence u are guessing. If Mikel Arteta can walk right into Manchester city as an assistant coach, what are we talking about here?

Abeg don’t compare Zidane issue to yobo, same Zidane that has worked with Madrid Castilla

Where has yobo even coached before self ?

Some good coaches today started out as assistant coaches.. Arteta started out as Pep assistant and is now coaching arsenal..

U are a big fan of Rohr aren't you ? Do u doubt his capability to instill some knowledge to Yobo?

obviously he's going there to learn since we've sent the one who neither contributed nor learnt anything, let us send the one who won't contribute but learn something. Aside the fact that he's not qualified I don't see it as a bad appointment.

U think the most capped defender in the history of super eagles is only there to be a fitness trainergrin come on na put some respect on his name na. I think he will be great with Semi Ajayi and the rest of our young defenders.

Not only experience, what coaching certificates does he have? You have to start from somewhere.

We know the qualifications of Oliseh, Amokachi, Amuneke and Finidi..

Aigbohun has a coaching badge.
How far did he take us ?

Actually, Finidi has a good point when it concerns Rohr. We are really not developing into a ball playing team with the kind of game we play. We are yet to have an identity in our playing style. With little pattern.

I can not wait for Finidi to get his shot. If he can get us to keep the ball like Van Gaal-style of play. That is enough to build from.

Van Gaal-style passing by Barcelona.

Coaching Badge does not guarantee a good coach but at least he has the qualifications.

If you have an organization, that is the first thing you look at.

I still don't see anything wrong with the appointment . It is an assistant coach role ! Guardiola is one of the greatest manager in world football, but he trusted Arteta to be his assistant.. did u kick against Arteta appointment as arsenal coach ?

Yobo may be able to pick one or two things under Rohr that would help him with his job. People like Aigbohun have proven that coaching badges aren't important to determine if u can become a good coach..

Imama and Salisu were the ones advising Rohr on tactics and we didn't see any improvement. I don't see how Yobo will be worse..

Oliseh had basically no experience when he became super eagles coach but he had top class qualifications.

That should be a minimum.

You can bet that Arteta had his UEFA badges before he joined Pep's team.

Arteta got his UEFA A license in 2015 when he was still an Arsenal player. So he was preparing for a coaching career.

His spell under Pep gave him some experience to handle a team himself.

So why can u bet on Arteta but not on Yobo? Should he make the picture of his certificate his profile pic?? The question in itself is very disrespectful.

Arteta had a UEFA A coaching badge in 2015.

He has a UEFA pro license now.

If Yobo had similar credentials, it would be a good appointment.

Arteta, Zidane and other young Coaches in europe did not just get appointments because they were good players.

They got the qualifications, first before a club took a chance with them.

Yobo might become a fantastic coach but this appointment was not about merit.

I concur. A lot of those European coaches worked out of youth academies, age grade teams and some even went through classes. Hopefully Yobo supplements his tenure with coaching enrichment opportunities and genuinely studies the game.

That is a given. Getting a law degree does not guarantee a good lawyer but you will not use a secretary as your lawyer.
