U called me to come ova to ur place, i wz glad. . . ./
Dressed up in cool sneaks, took with me all d moni dat i had. . . ./
Made my way to Eni stores, bought ur fav snacks & i paid the cash. . . ./
Just about leavin, heavy rain interrupted & i felt so bad. . . ./
But i didn't mind, i made my way into it.. People around thought i was crazy. . . ./
Cos i luv u so much, i could've done anytin for u baby. . . ./
Then i snd a call thru like 'hi bae, am almst dere, pls come & save me'. . . ./
U cried like 'bby see, its rainin' but ur response wz so so shady. . . ./
I kept my cool, thankfully d rain finally subsided. . . ./
Though i felt a lil bit pessimistic but d thought of seein u wz already decided. . . ./
Then i boarded another taxi down to ur street. . . ./
The Driver overcharged, I mean he was very strict. . . ./
And a second call came thru like 'oh bae, am at our usual spot.. Come pick me up'. . . ./
Then u responded like '
i can't, my road is floody' jst then i knew the jig is up. . . ./
With so much anger, i trekd down to ur house..hopin i'll be welcome. . . ./
Gave u like 21 missed calls, no no no, i could've still dial on. . . ./
But i switched to text msg.. sent like 2, & u read all. . . ./
Still.. u never care to reply like deaf ears wz what those ringins fell on/
Got fade up, with annoyance, i banged on ur gate/
Thank ur God u neva opened cos my heart wz already filled with hate. . . ./
As slaps would've come surgically to restructure ur face. . . ./
But it was already a waste of time like damn! i was wet. . . ./
So i brought the snacks outta the bag & consumed in haste. . . ./
