Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by blueband(m): 11:50am On Mar 12, 2008 |
IEI has finally come below my buy price. Dunlop is looking sweet to enter very soon. ABCTRANS,the bus is slowing down. The bears are sill around o.This has been a bad week.My spreadsheet profit don disappear! Are we seeing the end of CICO? |
Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by wanaj0: 12:07pm On Mar 12, 2008 |
blueband: Not at all. ACtually this is what makes CICO attractive. Buying opportunities being presented. However, it is clear now, that money can be lost from the market. That prices don't always go up. That there is the need to understand the market risks and other associated risk and have a plan to hedge against it. Aso provided an oportunity for people to understand structuring your portfolio to minimise impact of such bear runs. also for people to know that spreadsheet profit can disaapear. You can also see that fundamentally strong stocks are least affected!! |

@all, Could someone please provide the name and telephone number for the registrars that handled the Union Diagonistic PP a while back. I recall Elder Napoleon mentioned that the certs were already out and being cross traded at N4.80 or thereabouts. Can't check again as all his posts have been deleted |

Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by MrRisky: 12:56pm On Mar 12, 2008 |
cj2008: You seem to be speaking my mind although my fair expectations are 80%. But can you through on each of them to buttress your speculation, in case we might share the same sentiments. In this way too, all the hidden students here can do some jottings in their mind's jotters |

Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by MrRisky: 1:08pm On Mar 12, 2008 |
WASKY-WAJA: E be like say na you buy my dunlop last week I parachuted when I saw one animal that looks like BEAR rushing down towards it. Anyway, you can buy more to even out, its a turn around stock. My caution has been that any stock that I have not seen its recent result stays in my caution portfolio until the weather clear. I vamoosed from it last week at N7.16 and this even happened with my "agegutta" broker |
Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by wanaj0: 1:12pm On Mar 12, 2008 |
igbanbajo: It is very probable but make sure you hedge your risk. Let there be an audit trail, contract papers etc of the trasanction |

Temmie10:The FYE is March so if they are doing another 1 for 4 i expect that to be included by end March. I'm a bit confused though my spreadsheet says the closure date for final div is Sep so i'm assuming the the 1 for 4 will also be credited by closure date. Hmnnnn |
