Benin should not be on that list!

The place is very poor in terms of infrastructure.

This doesn't mean I dislike Benin but just a factual statement. I wish the people would get things right some day by electing the right kind of leaders.

I have only been to Kano on a brief stop over without exploration but Nigerian cities are generally centered on the major roads. Amaechi tried in giving D-Line area of Port Harcourt the best inner city roads in the East but that is just 2% to 5% of the city. Most Governors need to visit D-Line and catch a glimpse of how it should be done but 70% of inner streets in Port Harcourt are not paved.
The invert of ur post is the reality.

I think the major reason why we hardly see pictures of the interior Yorubaland is because we don't have that mentality of competing anyone. These grinding stone heads feel everything is them vs Yoruba.

Who gives a fuvk about eastern cities and what they have to offer.

It had long been explained that only eastern cities were taken cognizance of in that air pollution stat, and they were copied directly from the research work done by an Easterner in Eastern towns and cities.

And what they talked of was air pollution. Not lack of infrastructure or dirty environment.

Resilient city means everything good. That's why cities like Barcelona , Washington,Sydney are there and Ibadan or Ogbomosho aren't.

This is a thread on the so called Onitsha and Aba pollution. Follow Sonnie10 well put posts there from

However, the WHO also said on Wednesday that the pollution data from Onitsha was not necessarily reliable because it came from a single monitoring station.

“It is difficult to get accurate measurements in Africa. You can get super-high readings, but ideally the measurements should be done over a year to include different seasons and times of day. The reading in Onitsha may be representative but not altogether reliable,” said a WHO spokeswoman.
