Someone asked if there was a place she could sign a condolence register earlier and I thought of setting up a website to celebrate this great Nigerian with an online condolence register, user contributed articles, news and photo album for the defender of the Nigerian masses (www.ganiliveson.org). I pray his struggle will not be in vain. Rest in peace! |

Gani Fawehinmi, I hope your death will trigger the sound of justice to begin to ring in the ears of Nigeria's policy and decision makers. Those of us who believe in what you stood for will continue the fight from where left off. May your soul rest in peace and may God grant your family the fortitude to bear your departure even as the nation mourns with your loved ones. |
