Two things contradicts each other here.. you wrote "girlfriend " and then "excessively wants to know what you do for a living " hmm.
Is she not supposed to know what her boyfriend does for a living to avoid being arrested one day in connection with a kidnapper boyfriend?

What the op is trying to point out was that she want to know what he does for a living so that she can weigh his pocket size before she will accept to date him.Some ladies don't care if a guy is an armedrobber or not,as long as he meet her needs.What about ladies who dates yahoo guyz even though they know it's a crime?

It is not bad for her to know what her boyfriend does for a living, but the post says excessively, wanting to know what he does, which she is obsessed with what he does so that she can know how she will eat from him.
