truthislight: Except otherwise stated, I quote the Authorized Version (KJV). Most of these misleading versions were translated from the Authorized Version. So, answer the question you quoted. |

Jozzy4: Well, if you are going to talk to me about "YHWH" being removed from the Bible, then that's no argument, because it has no bearing on the question you quoted. Now, answer the question you quoted. |

Jozzy4: The bolded refers to the time they wanted/hoped their expectations would be fulfilled and not the expectations themselves. Please read between the lines. Their expectations were right but their timing was wrong. Simply put! Are you now okay? |

oneolajire:I ministered to a Native Doctor, a man from a long line of Native Doctirs. He gave his life to Christ. Burnt every of his Arts. Started Church. He confessed to me that, no one had ever stopped to preach the Word to him once he introduces himself as a Native doctor. As a matter of fact, he uses that to scare Bibke people off. He told me that several times, JW have come to him, but immidiately he tells them that he is a Native Doctor they turn back and run, but i sat in front of his shrine on a piece of block for two hours sharing the love of Christ with him. That man could not believe a young lady will have that kind of guts. I was not afraid of who he was becauae i knew who i carried. I lead him to Christ, went back and brought my pastor, before us, he removed his charms, rings, amulets, neck chain and destroyed them. Took a Bible and went to their viilage and summoned his kinsmen who most are Native Doctors. His father is a living babalawo, still alive, and preaented the Bible to them as his new way. When he return to the city, his father went to collect herbs, the spirits ceased the old man in the forest for three good days. The man could find his way out of the fimilar forest his had been going. He called me, i called my pastor, we went into prayers. The old man was found alive. If that man had died, my convert would have been in serious trouble, because they accused him of being responsible for everything. The fact is that he broke rank. As his father's first son, he shd step into his father's shoes, but now he is a believer. He is so excited to know all he now knows about God. He accuses some people around of hating him. He said they all knew he was damned but no one told him, they were all goiing to church preparing their way to heaven, while he was busy working to go to hell but no one told him. Does that look like sexond rate evangelism? Why were JW running from preaching to him? 4 Likes |

The only thing members of jw need from us christians is serious prayers...that their eyes of understanding may be opened. They've just been brainwashed from birth. I love their way of evangelizing only but their words are empty...without power. I've not heard of where they opened a blind eye or a deaf ear. I've not heard of miracles amongst them. Their lives will be much better if they acknowledge the person of the Holy Spirit. 1 Like |

JMAN05: But he has a lot to say about you guys here on nairaland. Is there an ounce of truth to what he says? He has indisputable evidence, real documents. If what he says is untrue you owe it to society to refute his claims. Why is it that every Jehovah Witness wants to say nothing about him? Is the truth so fearful? 1. Who exactly are Jehovah Witness? What is the true core of who you are? 2. How did you guys evolve your own religious sect? Catholics too evolved a sect, so why are you guys against theirs? I have noticed your Bibles are something else. 3. Why are Jehovah Witness interpretations generally different from the regular Bible ones? This is not to say they are always wrong, but why that distinct dichotomy and excessive focus on paradise? 4. Why must Jehovah Witness bring up the issue of means of crucifixion? Is it a team grouse with the Bible or with other protestants? It's not a case with which to win over anybody. I particularly enjoy Jehovah Witness, but that emphasis on paradise and the inability of your proselytizers to step away from some aspects I see as dogma sort of repels me. In terms of character building, you guys are the best. Little kids in Jehovah Witness are better informed than adults in other Protestant sects. |

Jozzy4: "All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of GOD is in my nostrils;" Job 27:3 JOB says the spirit of GOD was in his nostrils. So, the word "spirit" has more than one meaning in the Bible. |

Tellemall: You know muslims and atheists may just persecute christians and are known for that, but JW people won't enter into life and are obstacles into others getting into heaven. They are the ones who enter into homes and make people captives and render them twice candidates of Hell. They are worse in the sense that muslims not all though(i mean religious extremists can be seen and avoided) but these people come in sheep's clothing but are like ravenous wolves disguised as true disciples and sweet tongues but full of poisonous snakes like adder and deceive people with their tongue cos you won't drag them away like extremists. 1 Like |
