Reminds me of when my cousin lied to her AI during NYSC years ago that her father died just for her to be permitted to travel(for a bday party or so)..The father is very much alive and still very wicked and Evil...Shows how much some kids hate their fathers Some fathers are very, very bad..Like they are sent from the pit of hell..No iota of love for their kids.. This young man should calm down sha,no matter what,he shouldn't shame his father...A leopard can never get rid of its spot.... 2 Likes |

[quote author=HungerBAD post=49016305]Just like that. The man has just officially lost his children. And for this young man running his mouth, one day in the East he will be asked to "POINT OUT HIS FATHER'S HOUSE" there.[/quote Not true dear. If their mother owns her house and theres reason for the divorce. They can lay claim to momsies hometown. |

Inspectahdeck: and parents (especially Nigerian mothers) should should not poison the minds of their children when they have issues with their spouses. I'm not saying that is what is happenning in this case but many Nigerian mothers are guilty of this. In the end it's the child you hurt, this is obviously a bleeped up kid. The man may be a bad husband and father we don't know but what we know for sure is that Stella has proven herself to be a woman of questionable character. a woman like that cannot raise good children 4 Likes |

Well as an original igbo man born and bred in Enugu state,i have never seen where this happens in the mothers place unlesd Stella within herself secretly know that it was another man that give her belle while she deceived the ex hubby that it was him. Also, while accepting that nobody knew the wrong d ex did to her,we sould all question the character of a woman that married two or three men and divorced them all.For me,her character is questionable even as she being a millionaire and politician has escalated her attitude of not being humble, loyal and respectful to men.Money is speaking and can make people keep quiet from condenming what is unjust. It is a pity. 15 Likes |

freshvine: If the father did what that guy wrote, then he should be ashamed to call either his son. The man abandoned them and married other wives, now he wants to bury who he didn't raise. He even denied being aware of the guy's death. What else is that if not acute bitterness and outright mischief. Some men don't deserve to have sperm 6 Likes |

daretodiffer: What sort of bitter truth will a young man be professing Dat will lead to him calling his father names in public and even calling himself a bastard? Truth be told, he is his father and nutin can change that. I'm sure the mum will not be at home with the boy's public outburst unless she has never been a good woman ab initio 2 Likes |

let us thank this young man,he has finally brought the point home to all absentee fathers who thinks after many years of negative indoctrination by the estranged mum/wife,their son will finally come back home to them.,yes he will, with little or no tolerance for the normal foibles of a daddy.a little indiscretion on the path of absentee fathers get them butchered by an unbonded son. this guy just told the dad ,the painful truth,he will rather be a bastard than be his son.it is a choice he is entitled to and he has made his choice.anyone can go on to drink panadol for the man's headache or that of his son. young men, before u marry her, look out for the signs that tells you she will abandon you for the hugest bidder.it is the man's error in marrying and impregnating the wrong woman that led to all these. absentee father.take this a wakeup call.no future for absentee father. the boy is right, the dad is a pretender, the sons left home since with their mother with no intention of ever returning home and he knew this all along. let us begin to call these absentee fathers their real name="sperm donors" 8 Likes 1 Share |

We can all lambast the guy(son) all we want but if you have never walked his journey, don't judge him. If you have never been denied the privilege of a fatherly love, don't cast aspersion. I have a close friend, I know how much she loves to be with her father, but the more she tries the more frustrated she becomes courtesy the supposed father all because the lady has not amounted to anything yet. We have useless father's out there 9 Likes |

Xsmart22: There's a difference between "Father" and "Dad". As you rightly said, he's a sperm donor, a father and nothing else... But being a dad, requires commitment. An absentee father would NEVER be regarded as a dad. Plain and simple truth. The man did not act like an elder in the family, he knew the supposed thing to do before going public. Going public was his greatest undoing. When you point an accusing finger at someone, three other fingers are pointing right back at you. 7 Likes |

See all these sanctimonious folks! Guy said their mother alone was the "father and mother" they had growing up. She and hers were the only family they knew. Why would the man want the dead son now that he's no more? Where was he while the boy needed a father? Abeg, free the young man, its too late for the baba to start claiming father. A true father is the man who was there to help groom the kids into adults, he didn't do that. Let everybody kala their maamu. 7 Likes |

does it mean dat over 30yrs d man has never asked of his children?my ppl,d man is d cause of d whole tin for abandoning ur wife and children.but young boy listen,i gues u and ur mum ar kidnappers.how can u bury him in a strange land tinkin dat ur dad wil attend.even if he is foolish,he would not attend because it is a great insult and neglect.Try to reconcile wit ur father because ur mum whom i tink is deceiving u is now in his father's house,so look for ur own father.Ok? 3 Likes |

Dante2008: Africans? Are you serious? Okay I agree yes we're African and IF the man was truly African, regardless of whatever Stella did, for the sake of the kids (which he knew were his), he would NEVER have divorced her. In Igbo land, divorcing a woman and taking your bride price back carries a lot of negative significance. Imagine the slurs the kids have faced upon till this time, you have no idea what it means. If the man was African, when he heard about his son's death, it's your son for crying out loud. Media should NEVER have been involved. I repeat, media should NEVER have been involved. He should have contacted Stella's family, NOT Stella or the kids. From there, Stella's family would sent emissaries formally to their place. In Igboland, we have what's called "Omenana", so let's stop accusing Stella when the man in question hadn't performed well. It is correct that we have values which we must hold to high esteem, but holding these values is not a "one-way" street. It goes both ways. Finally, he's a father and not a dad. An estranged man who's not been in the life of the kids is not worthy to be called a dad by general standards. 6 Likes |
