Chebbak has dropped deep to defend. That's a plus to our own attack.

Missoudy needs Radoulani to beat Payne. That leaves Ajibade a chance but their DM and Cb are on Ajibade. That's making Kanu wing to be easier and free. Kanu needs to step up and now. We should even aim for a pk. Kanu runs in and turns, they'll trip her. Enough for me.

Ajibade is hardworking. Kanu really need to step up, she’s been doing ok, but she needs to release ball when necessary, unnecessary dribbles isn’t necessary… dribble once and release ball or whip in cross.

Ajibade has also held on to the ball unnecessary. I think her first instinct is always to take the ball sideways and run with it. There are times when all she needs to do is just release the ball to the closest person. She's been great though.

Don’t worry, once Kanu tire up Ordega will come in and run them down, Coach Randy knows what he’s doing is just that we need to take our Chances as soon as possible..!
Hopefully. That makes sense. Cos if Ordega started, Wahala for Plumptre o. Kanu should score anyway

Exactly.

No crosses from Kanu's wing. She's always after making runs and dribbling.

Half-time.
Onumonu is at least positioning well. Dunno why they are not communicating at least. Make screams at each other. Chai. Kanu has the biggest space right now. She better use it or swap momentarily with Ajibade for 5mins. Cos.

Moroccans are getting tired too. Running and getting hit with a stop is frustrating them.

I think Ajibade is holding the ball and dragging the moroccans to her wing to create space in the midfield that’s why anytime she’s able to pass the ball in the middle and ball sent to Kanu thereby making Kanu wing free and unfortunately Kanu hasn’t been able to utilize that.

Okobi's chance was hurriedly taken she should have nailed Maroc there
Payne needs to stop making runs that open her up
Kanu is good she should run more at that defender force fouls, she can be our joker

The question now is can the Moroccans keep up the pace and tempo if it drags to extra time?
True. I hope they don't score. That'll be worse.

You shouldn't have even engaged him. He spews ridiculous non-factual opinions for the most part. It's ok not to fancy or even like a player, but at least one should be objective in our opinions.

Tony Payne has been phenomenal. We would have been exposed terribly in the opening minutes if she had not stood her ground.

Our high-press made the Moroccans commit several errors at the back and we should have capitalized on that opportunity.

They most likely will change tactics in the second half – so we must be ready to breakdown their strategy and exploit their weak points.

Good game so far.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Pidginwhisper: 10:12pm On Jul 18, 2022
Onumonu should be taking off. We can hurt them from the wing. We can play without striker.
