Kanu has been a great ambassador for Africa in Mexico and has opened the door for others.

The beginning of better things to come

It’s now very clear that Uchenna Kanu always wanted to play in the NWSL, one of the reason she applied for the NWSL Draft few years ago… Now it’s time.

It’s going to be Uchenna Kanu and Thembi Kghatlana upfront for Racing L..

She's no stranger there. I think it's more about living in the USA than playing there. There are obviously better Leagues than the NWSL, but playing college football in the USA has perhaps endeared her heart there.

Yeah she do like it there in USA but again the NWSL is now paying well and as it stands the NWSL is still rated as the best League in the World especially with their National Team Performance.…

England WSL, France League1, Germany Fraun Bundesliga, Spain Liga1, Swedish Damallskevskan are all top Leagues…

. she’s well known there especially the NAIA Women College Soccer Division and her recent goal against the US speaks volumes

Uchenna went to school here in the US, and has always wanted to come back here.
Also, the NWSL, especially with the CBA agreement for equal pay they recently signed, has increased the compensation for women. I mean, Trinity Rodman was signed recently for $1.0 million, so the benchmark has been raised significantly for women.

Hope she makes a significant impact and I expect more and more quality players from around the world to sign for the NWSL.

Oshoala could easily have scored 20 goals now, if one considering the open goal headers she has missed.
She needs to reach out to Osimhen and have him 'coach' her on heading fundamentals - she would be a world class striker IF she can finesse that part of her game.
