But this card payment restrictions is really falling hands o, over the weekend my husband got a good flight deal from Beirut to Vegas booked it on hold, got to GTB to pay yesterday after BA had said you can pay anywhere in the world so far it's BA, BA Nigeria started saying stories for the God's yesterday o and he was stuck because they longer allow book on hold for flights originating from naija, you can't pay online either due to card limit issues, agents are calling about 800k, isn't this rather sad

You cannot pay for a flight from beirut to vegas from Nigeria, You can only pay from the country of originating flight or from London.

You also have an the option of going BA office at the airport with a USD card and swiping on POS

to be honest I did not know I was meant to write a letter of "change of intent" would have done that...and the VO checked my reciept and confirmed everything was paid for in full....my fear is that they never give time to explain anything and I am trying to imagine the possible questions they'll throw at us when we go for the next interview....

Question for you: did you use the visa for vacation as you had declared at the initial interview?

Saying you were not pregnant at the interview is besides the point. You said you were going for vacation, but you went for childbirth. It's a straightforward lie, in the eyes of the visa officer.

Just apply as freshers. Carry the usual documents + all your receipts.

All the best.

the letter isn't necessary (neither does it carry any weight again), so long as you have used the visa, for the purpose you mentioned at the interview. Simples.
have a safe trip.
papi7:

Hi, i'd like to know what you meant in your post by ( I have no plans to send change of intent letter before I enter one chance ) I told my DW that the letter of intent isn't necessary as long as you weren't pregnant as at time of the VISA application so, please reply.

thanks

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Julymama: 3:57pm On Jan 10, 2017
Wow thank you so much for your reply. 28k! That is crazy.

dere5:

North Carolina Na one chance o. I would advice you stay away from there o. It was this exact mistake of "that's where I have relations" my friend/sister did and ended up with a bill of about $28k in 2015,she is still paying it now via payment plan. The same arrangement she had in north Carolina would have cost her about $7k if she had gone to Houston or Elpaso, and she would have spent max additional 5k for both feeding & accommodation. So pls run as far as you can from NC,except you find a hospital that has a package deal and you lock it down in black & white(pen & paper)
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Julymama: 4:00pm On Jan 10, 2017
The cost is still so high. I may have to change to maybe Atlanta. Thanks

chinwe11:

I had my first child in Raleigh north carolina and would be having the next there. It's much more costly than other places. I paid 2200 for doctors fee and 4800 as hospital fee for vaginally delivery. I also paid 1500 for epidural and 1550 for pediatrician who saw the baby that day. However when I got home I kept getting more bills in the mail...I would say I spent total of about 13k. I had my daughter at rex health care. Wake med gave me a higher estimate so couldn't even go there. I also had to pay 300usd for a 2 hour stay in nursery when my baby was crying and I wanted to rest. I thought it was free till I saw the bill. My labor was 24 hours and they were ready to take me in for ceasarian. They had told me the cs was 13k for the operation alone and then with other care everything would end up at 20k. See me crying lol. Na so i tell them say i want to tey and push one more time. Luckily my baby came. My sister inlaw lives there too so had to go. Just hold enough cash because if there is any complication the bills will just sky rocket. I am going again in march sha. They dont have any oackage per se theybwill just tell you that they give a percentage of 35percent discount and that delivery is between 4800 to 10000k for vd but could cost more. They wont lock down any package price. Feel free to pm me for more info emails or for the doctors I used.

You should check the airline website for the requirements for pregnant women or better still put a call through to them, although a lot of mama's here have used emirates, like Ijeomaobi1 kiss and many others, if you read their posts you'll see when they travelled and the max requirements

I have been a silent reader and was able to get most of the info I needed for my missionary journey from here. Thanks to all. My current challenge is that I had my baby girl at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston on 27 of Dec 2016 and the bills I'm getting are quite on the high side compared to what I heard about the hospital and compared to other hospitals. Please please please anyone that has successfully used this hospital kindly help me on how to go about the bills. Thanks.

Hello everyone, please I just need to be sure of something. My wife's passport is expiring in June(less than 6 months from now) She has a 2yrs valid US visa on it.. I want to renew the passport before she travels, but I was told that immigration do not have 32 pages passport that what they have is 64 pages and it's for frequent travelers, diplomats and businesses men.
I want to know if I obtain the 64 pages passport for her, will she encounter any type of delay/hindrance while traveling... Thanks guys
