The north should please find oil and break away from Nigeria.
We are tired of their parasitic leaching of other peoples resources and violence.

What is this one saying?
Low oil prices is what has caused this current recession, it makes no sense whatsoever to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on exploration .

An exploration that has been funded by obj, good luck yielded nothing. Now he is expecting a miracle. If only you know how much people are making on this stupid venture you'll rethink your support.

Leave am. Diversification to him means finding more oil wells in the North. Isn't it the same monoeconomy that is affecting us .

This is Bubu's definition of "diversification". Senile dull man. undecided

....meanwhile, diversification of the economy by Bubu is his further militarization of the Nigerdelta through opening an amphibious military division in Portaharcourt. Laughable.

Your problem is that you don't know the meaning of diversification. It does not mean neglecting a sector but developing other sectors so that they can grow. Moving from mono cultural economy to poly cultural economy
You just ended up saying trash. How is searching for oil in the north translate to diversification?

Just my view... in this century there is and always will be glut in the oil market. Technology has made it possible to now extract oil that was not possible in the last century... the US ...which was the biggest buyer is now trying to sell oil. Doesn't mean oil is no longer important... it is not that important. My take on the rush to extract oil in the North is part of a bigger plan... the plan to set the North up with all it requires to be a self sufficient country, then secede and leave 'Nigeria' saddled with the debt.... the reason also why the $30 b loan is sought after without explanation. So looking at the big picture... this makes sense to me... why settle secede and have to depend on 'Nigeria' for oil?
Please which part will be Nigeria after north secedes??

Niger delta oil will soon become useless.

As opposed to the North which is already useless and has been for over 100 years.

That could be the point ! The debts would have to be shared in that case.
The debt would be owed by Nigeria....'the North' would be a different country.

That's APC/Buhari diversification agenda for Nigeria. These guys can't fool us all, and that project is capital intensive, that's where all the money is going to and they will come out to deceived the people that the country is broke cheesy

all the oils Wells in the south were discovered by foreign oil companies so while is the fg instead of foreign oil companies searching for oil in the north? because there's none there, this is a complete waste of scarce resources.

This should be an eye opener for the niger delta militant...at a point ,blowing up oil pipelines will not have any effect on the govt once they have such up north. Let them keep blowing them up and degrading their environment while they patiently wait for the take off of the mirageous ogoni clean up exercise.

SS/SE would have different names as well. Biafra, Oduduwa Republic and Niger Delta would be countries as well.

i think the Hausas are finally receiving sense. They can see the handwriting on the wall that one day, maybe soon, they will no longer have dominion over those oil wells and rig allocated to them. And don't be surprise Buhari might be the last Hausa to rule a united Nigeria.
Jonathan has the same opportunity to upgrade both bayelsa and niger delta, I think we should ask tompolo, ayiri, Clark and co what happened.
Obasanjo had same opportunity to develop olokola but he too didn't .
U were making sense until u used that word-OLOKOLA- then i paused and i read again, and i saw it was all senseless.

U reason well, but if u follow d global oil exploration history, u will discover dt d community would be peaceful, until dt day the exploration will start. Expect d same ND scenario up north, if truly ds efforts materialize. d kind of future BH, ISIL etc would be there to fight for control over d oil installations. The opposite of PEACE is OIL. Look at Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, even where there are oil deposits in US.

Buhari and his daft govt should stop wasting scarce resources looking for oil in the Barren North, You can only find groundnut and kulikuli oil.Haha.
That moment when FG is looking for oil in the North but Chevron is making new oil discovery in offshore Bayelsa.
